Our journey embarked from the shores of the lush jungle beaches onto a vast ship crewed by an experienced Elvish captain. The hull was marred with damage from previous battles, and its sails were tattered from cannon fire. The group consisted of dwarf, human, and elf; the only missing race was a greenskin orc!

After a command was rung out by the captain, the large sails dropped fully in order to catch the powerful gusts of wind to propel us forth. The once clear blue sky was soon blanketed by rolling black clouds. The shore, which seemed so close just moments ago, was now distant as we continued to sail into a mighty storm. Tidal waves collided with the hull, causing thundering booms, yet the crew remained steady on their task.

After just a few hours of travel, our ship arrived at a calm shoal with calm aquamarine waters and a clear sky. Each member of the group was given a vial filled with liquid; its contents would allow us to breathe underwater with ease. One by one, we leapt overboard into the depths of the sea, where we would soon find ancient ruins. A temple carved of stone, weathered away by the sea, presented itself to the group. Its mighty structure was filled with blossoming coral and plentiful schools of fish.

Yet just outside the calm ruins stood an ominous glowing trident, acting as an unnatural beacon for the ocean. From the distance, we could see swirling bubbles and a strange, dark figure approaching. It was a whale! Though it was no ordinary whale but instead a transport for humanoid fishmen, each wielding sharp spears wrought of coral and iron, No diplomacy was to be had, and they struck fast and viciously, striking me twice with their cunning tools.

After a hard fought battle, the sand settled, and the ocean floor was stained with blue ichor from the fallen warriors. Who were these creatures, and what were they protecting within the ruins? Sadly, no answers were found, and further investigation will be needed. Perhaps more treasure is held within the depths below.
