THE FERRYMEN 

A coin for your troubles

 

  

As stout and hard-workers who make an honest living, whilst banditing villains, and fighting in our battles, we came across another journal.

 

This journal gave me the feels, it is romantic, it is filled with an aura of love. It makes me want to marry again. I currently have sixty-four wives, but after this, I hope to find a sixty-fifth.

The world seemed brighter with you by my side,

Every moment was filled with love and pride.

But now you're gone and I'm left alone,

A part of me missing, a heart made of stone.

Days feel longer, nights so dark,

I can't bring back the love we once sparked.

The laughter we shared, the tears we shed,

All memories now, forever embedded.

I miss the touch of your gentle hand,

The warmth of your embrace, your love so grand.

I know you're gone, but you'll always be,

A part of me, a cherished memory.

Until we meet again, my love,

I'll hold you close, in my heart, above.

 

To Love Again

It seemed impossible to love again,

After my heart was shattered by pain.

But slowly, as time passed by,

I learned to heal, to laugh, to cry.

The memories of you still remain,

But I found a new love, a different terrain.

A path that's different, but just as sweet,

A love that's pure, and oh so neat.

I used to fear that I'd betray,

The love that I felt every day.

But love has no limit, no boundary,

It's boundless, vast, and free.

So I opened my heart once more,

And found a love that I adore.

It's not the same, it's not the past,

But it's a love that will forever last.

I'm grateful for the love I've known,

For the memories that I've grown.

And now, with a new love by my side,

I know my heart will forever abide.

Skeletons, zombies, and golems of all sizes worked tirelessly in the grand library, throwing books, letters, and papers into the center where a bonfire roared.

Dangerous Dale could not get enough of the constant juicy drama and letters he would take from those he robbed. How all of the continent must know of these publications. "Exquisite..."
