TomFunks 758 Share Posted June 7, 2024 (edited) SENATUS ASSEMBLY AUDIT REQUEST Requested on 17th of Owyn's Flame, 113 BA INTRODUCTION In accordance with the Section I, Article II, of the Transparency in Governance Act of 111 BA, the Senate has formally and unanimously voted in favor of requesting an impromptu audit from the Procurator. This request was issued by Senator Baldric Vourkehardt on the 11th of Peter’s Glory, 112 BA during the Senatus Assembly. Six of the seven Senators present, exemption being made to the absent Senator Hilda Adrianna Brawn, voted in favor of this request. The rationale for this audit is in line with the drafting, proposal, and passing of the utilized bill in that it is necessary to have the necessary knowledge of the finances within the nation so as to allow us as a collective to make informed decisions. Thus, the Procurator will be given up to two saintsweeks to present the requested documents during a session of the Senate in accordance with Section I, Article III of the Transparency in Governance Act. The information requested is specified to be an overview of the collected taxes or funds in a year and yearly expenses. However, no information on any citizen is requested at this time and may remain entirely private.
