Dear diary,

 

I know what kind of coronation I would want. I have been to two now, both very odd. Mine will have seats to sit in and drinks to drink! It is said. There will be horchata and cookies, for everyone to enjoy.

 

I met His Holiness. I invited him over and he said he’d make dinner. Do you think he is a good cook? I hope he is because Senor Cooks cooking only seems to get worse. Boys are odd. Tadeo challenges everyone to a duel and for no reason. And Arturas. . Well, he’s odd too. He dances around fires and plays lots.

 

A man was bleeding and hurt. I prayed for him, to DIOS. I hope he’s okay. But what if the monsters got him?

 

I miss the chicken farm. Madre won’t let me leave the city without guards. So I have been studying a lot, reading books and training. Did you know silver can detect poison? I learned that.
