To the great people of the Commonwealth of the Petra,

 

It is with honor that I announce the first session of our revived Garmont Assembly since our country regained its independence from the Heartlander Confederation. As Grand Speaker, it is my duty to bring the delegates of this institution together to go over matters of legislation for the benefit of all citizens of this Commonwealth. Thus, I call upon all noble and elected delegates to gather at the Vallagne City Hall in just three months for this gathering of our first session. Any members of the institution who are unable to attend are encouraged to submit an official delegate in their stead, notified in advance to the Office of the Grand Speaker no less than two Saint’s Hours before the meeting. Any who wish to submit a bill must notify the Office of the Grand Speaker no less than one Saint’s Day before the session is scheduled to begin.

 

At this first gathering of delegates, it will be our mission to review, debate, and vote on the revised Catherinian Code as proposed by the River Council. Likewise, amended bills from before and during the Heartlander Confederation shall be brought forth to the table for potential implementation or revision. Finally, if there is time remaining, those assembled shall review any other submitted bills.

 

The assembly will be open to public observation, but as always disruptions will not be tolerated. Those unable to attend will have access to the official public transcripts of the debates and resolutions after the assembly concludes. Any who wish to scribe for the Garmont Assembly are encouraged to reach out to the Office of the Grand Speaker for more information.

 

Representatives' attendance and participation is vital as we shape the future of our nation. Ave Petra!
