VA VE EDLERVIK,

 

It is known within Haeseni mythology, that a deity of the name Kostana is the harborer of the Southern Wind. It is she who each Spring, transfers the responsibility of the weather from her sister Jardani, the Goddess of the Northern Wind, and brings us warmer climate.

 

It is around this time, that we must say goodbye to the Nikirandz goddess Kostana as we welcome forth her sister Jardani who will bring forth the Kholv Vatar or the cold wind. 

 

Thus we present a time to respect and pay regards to these sisters within Kostaholvfest, a nuance to the two sisters.

FESTIVITIES

 

In order to preserve our time during summer and to pay respect to Kostana’s part within the gifts we receive during this time, there shall be a FLOWER PRESSING booth within the corner of the outdoor ballroom within Kastell Lesanov.

 

Along with that, we will be participating in a ZWEIN BECEN which can be described in the Ve Haurlun I Dans journal. The winners of the dance will receive fifty mina each, and will eat first during the feast.

 

Then, once we have danced our fill; the party will transfer to the feasting hall in order to dine on foods that only blossom fully within the Spring and Summer months. Including large platters of fruits and berries, with roasted corn and tomatoes for vegetation.
