ÖHNE UND TÖCHTER VON REINMAR,

 

AS ANNOUNCED IN THE COURT OF 1992, Wilhelmina von Brandthof is hereby appointed to the position of Seneschall von der Heidehof, charged with managing the Court on behalf of the Crown and enriching the lives of the sons and daughters of Reinmar.

 

She has learned diligently in her time as my ward, and I entrust this task to her with full faith and confidence in her abilities. May she do us proud, and usher innovation and invigoration into the Heather Court.

The Year of Our Lord, 1966. Adalfriede walked with a nine-year-old Frederica through the camp on the site which would later become the city of Kretzen, took her hand, and asked her to be the Seneschal of the fledgling Heather Court. A role Frederica took to with grace and enthusiasm for a girl so young. Now she was a woman grown, a princess in her own right, and something warm and buoyant flooded Adalfriede's cold, shrivelled heart to see the legacy pass on.

 

May this young girl Wilhelmina be as well-suited to the role as little Frederica had been.

Ambitious and eager, Wilhelmina had long hungered for the position of Seneschal - ever since she entered wardship under Frederica. Now, as head of the court, she felt it to be her greatest accomplishment yet.
