The Blood Tax has been claimed, from Balian to Haense, from Lurin to Celianor. Soldiers have crumbled, mortals have bent their knees, offering their veins to the tide of eternal hunger, the very price of existence itself laid bare.

And yet, despite the success one stood out, one land of mortals DARED to defy the words of Valerius! One group has slaughtered their hordes of undead, for they have fought with such excellence that the Vampiric undead themselves did question for but a moment their own sanity, who were they to stand against Numendil, so brave and Valiant, a beacon amidst the mortal world.
