DEATH OR DISHONOR

 

In the evening of the 24th of the Sun’s Smile upon his return from a supply run, Gailard Staunton was set upon by ten of Caurost’s special forces, led by their best warrior and General. The Staunton rode with haste towards the gates of Silasia to evade his assailants, as he approached he’d be met by twenty of Courland’s finest knights who had just returned from a lengthy patrol. Wasting no time they drew their swords and turned them towards the elven forces that sped ever closer. 

 

As Gailard turned his horse about to face the commander of the Caurost ambushers, he ordered the knights to charge with him and force them back. The Courlanders charged forth chasing down those who would attempt to kill their leader. In short work they cut down the feeble willed elves, arrows flew from the knights who dismounted and brought forth their crossbows. A swift and fatal blow from a Cossack named Lazlo, killing the Courost commander's horse making him retreat on foot soon to be brought to yield before swiftly capturing him. 

 

 

Good quick fight, good sports all around :)!
