A report compiled by the Sorcerer of Tor’Preath

[This is available only to HERALDS OF AZDROMOTH and AZDRAZI that linger in the lair Tor’Preath.]

To my Fellow Heralds and Lords Draconic,

 

I pen this report to you on the eve of dire news. The time to act upon the Pact of Horen is now to safeguard the realms of man, elf, dwarf, and orc from threats otherworldly and unknown. A great beast of the Void has found freedom from the bondages of a prison that magi foolishly failed to keep, and it rests onto the Seekers of Fire and the Ash Knights to find the beast and send it back into the depths of OBLIVION where it belongs.

 

To this, Lord Prophet AN-GHO has given me the task of overseeing our organization of resources and manpower into preparing us for this clash of might against that which would turn our world into a cesspit of eldritch sigils and twisted life. We are to search lands tainted by THE VOID for signs of this creature; for it leaves such eldritch taint behind in the wake of its passing. We will begin our search beyond the secret cove and towards the lands of the swamp; where the void touches the earth and plagues the land with its taint. Prepare weapons and potions capable of harming things of the Void. Harnessing the powers of Anti Magic is key to our success. Tear down altars to the Otherworld. Cast Oblivion down with the grace of RUIN. Conviction shall triumph over Oblivion’s touch.

 

Our search must also involve the tracking down of Magi who bear a specific mark of the Void. Should you encounter an individual with eyes of a cat, who is not of the Kha race who also possess tattoos similar to that of a herald Ordained by the Titan Azdromoth; though lack the DRAAN that flows through them, for their marks lack the EYE OF THE TITAN. Check them for a connection to the Void, and bring them to Tor’Preath for interrogation and examination so they may join our quest. They are our only link to knowing more about what this beast of the Void is, for they are the ones who failed to keep it sealed. I will divulge more information pertaining to this should you require it in person.

A certain 'aheral hides within the library from both secondhand embarrassment, and shame. A secondary note was drafted and hung up beside the initial report. 

"To tarnish a sacred site will not aid the search. The temples hold the horror back. The structure in itself is not our enemy, but the horror that lurks around the corner. To tear the entire world apart in our search would be counter intuitive." 

 

On the other side of the note is a scribbly drawing depicting two arms, with even more scribbly and unhelpful depictions of tattoos.

A certain and very unassuming man known as The An-Gho informs a certain 'aheral that Osar had meant small secondary shrines theorized to empower the escaped eldritch beast rather than the central temple to the Void.
