The Red Gods Favour

From a young age, Volkan had been groomed by the priests of The god of blood and Violence to serve as a potential champion. He was thrown into life-threatening battles after battle, yet he always made sure to make an offering to the Red God, sending his blood and spreading malice in his name, be it to the innocent or evil; the red god throws no favor nor any hate. He was created from the violence of this world, but no one knows where he first came from... He did not care for what origins one had, nor what practices one had, not even if his own followers were harmed, for all was a form of worship toward himself.

 

He was trained to master both the blade and Arcane arts. A jack of all trades but a master of none, he did not falter in his dedication. He always made offerings to the Red god, gorging him in sacrifice and malice, until one day, the day that challenged him with the most significant obstacle of his life.

 

One day, he was challenged in a duel between himself and another follower of the Red God. The battle was long and hard, leaving both maimed. Volkan was left blinded and damaged, but it pleased the Red God all the same, feasting on the blood on his throne of skulls.

 

Sins That day, Volkan lost his sight. He had lost something vital to himself, unable to inflict violence as before, unable to swing properly or cast at all. So much blood to the Red god was not spilled, so much violence in the realm never happened, the Red god was not pleased and threw no favor upon Volkan, he was left alone, the sorrow within him deep, he went to a particular mountain peak that served as a temple, and screamed into the night with all his might.

 

"LORD OF BLOOD AND VIOLENCE, YOUR CHILD HAS FAILED YOU, LIMITED BY ONE BATTLE, I HAVE FAILED A THOUSAND, WITHOUT YOU IM NOTHING YOU AND ONLY YOU ARE THE GREATEST PLEAS I BEG UPON YOU, ACCEPT THIS SACRIFICE OF MINE, AND RESTORE ME HOLE ONCE AGAIN - MAY THE BLOOD SPILL AND SPLATTER"

 

He spoke before cutting his palm upon an altar, offering 2 Genus worth of blood.... this continued for hours.... until, due to exhaustion, he fell asleep by the shrine.

His sleep was dark and cold until he felt the heat and saw the light and the world around him. He blinked, and he saw the floor drenched in blood, the air filled with a metallic scent and wailing screams from pain and battle... he looked around. He was in a warzone where creatures of different origins fought in an eternal struggle of violence. He looked around and saw one more prominent than anything else, a Throne built by Skulls. The size made for a Titan... and on the throne was a creature unable to be correctly seen by the naked eye. Sitting on the Throne all Volkan could see was a a red mist taken a humanoid shape with glowing eyes.... The Titan raised his finger and pointed toward Volkan miles away and spoke.

 

"My child of crimson and malice, I heard your prays and seen your tribute, and I shall bestow my favor upon you."

 

And as he spoke, the world turned a red Hue. The earth quaked, and from the corner of his eyes, a creature that could only be described as a Red Wraith emerged, carefully putting a black silken woven over Volkans eyes and around his head.. as he did, Volkan sensed a sensation of warmth as if he was blessed by his lord... moments later He woke up for a grasp of air... and at that moment he ripped the cloth from his shirt... feeling an intense urge to cover eyes.

In 2023 Drunkpapabear said Dreameater was the Lord of the Craft and I didn't believe him. 

 

The year is 2024 and Dreameater is on his way to get Seer.
