P R O L O G U E

 

As times change within Balian, the streets start to feel much more desolate, as an eerie sense of transformation slowly overtakes the nation. Lady Augusta Eliana Temesch, along with Balian as a whole, extends invitations to the entire nation as well as to others outside of it. She also introduces the idea of various competitions for the event, which are listed below.

P R A Y E R 

 

"O GOD almighty, you have once already blessed our peoples with your divinity, you have led us across the deserts and have ensured our safety, ensured wisdom was brought forth upon our monarchs and it is to you that we come once more. In hopes that your guiding light and star may continue to shine across and upon Balian, that you may protect the line of John I and that you may instill the wisdom and blessings of your hand upon our Cardinal-Regent Ivan, that you may further instill the blessings and wisdom of your divinity upon our council and finally that you may still retain the guiding light as you so often have upon our peoples and our Kingdom as you have once through John I and Saint Lothar. Amen."

Dress to Impress. 

Winners of this challenge will be awarded handmade crowns, crafted from gold in an intricate and original design. These crowns will be given only to the best-dressed at the masquerade, so prepare to wear your finest attire!
 

The Dance of change. 

 

As time smoothly moves, a dance of change is enacted. Get ready and find yourself a partner, for your task is to impress those around you with your grace and movement. A reward of 50  mina is guaranteed for those who succeed. 

 

The Literature of time. 

 

Poetry has the power to inspire and reveal truths. The Kingdom of Balian encourages writers of all kinds to present their work. If your literary creation touches the soul and leaves a lasting impact, you will be granted a reward of 50 mina.
