I’ve barely been on LOTC for the past few months or even the past few days, and I’d like to say that it’s totally okay to feel burnout! If anything, recognizing that burnout can actually be a good thing. At some point with MCRP, you don’t really realize when it’s time to step back, either to disconnect from the everyday drama on the server or because you genuinely just need a creative refill >_> I’m actually pretty happy being on a semi-hiatus. It also makes you realize, like, “Hey, there are a lot of other things I can do with my time besides just mineman RP.”

Josh alt account detected!! All jokes aside, the issue isn’t personal, It’s structural. If an administrator doesn’t have the time to meaningfully engage with LOTC, yet is still enforcing rules while being disconnected from what’s actually happening on the server, that is part of the problem. What we’re seeing is a repeated cycle of issues being raised, acknowledged briefly (if at all), and then left unresolved despite consistent player feedback. Ban appeals are a clear example of this, there have been repeated requests to properly review them, and yet nothing substantive has been done for an extended period of time. When you volunteer to help run a community of this size, it’s necessary to honestly assess whether you have the time and availability to do so effectively. If not, that responsibility needs to be reevaluated, for the sake of both the staff and the playerbase. I really hope you don't get any mean feedback though, I can tell you're just asking.
