In the heart of Balian, the church of God, a wedding commenced. The cardinal called the noble pair forth, until suddenly.

A dark figure loomed on the horizon, seemingly having climbed all the way to the top of the church. He got into position before conjuring forth his foul black miasma, imbuing it within a bag of snakes. Mere moments later it rained down snakes on the marrying couple and that unlucky cardinal while handing the couple the rings. Grotesque they were, bloating with festering black mists that loomed idly above the corpses. Waiting to be removed from the church floor... however it soon started to tear, and its insides started rapturing until it...

BURSSST!

The snakes spat outwards, their grotesque and bloated corpses flying outwards in an explosion of bones, blood, and skin. A scene of gore was suddenly made within the presence of the holy clergy. Severely wounding the to-be-married couple... While it exploded, that figure that had once again performed this was long gone. Seemingly this was not the first time he had performed such a vile act. People rushed their loved ones to the clinic while the holy magi tried to rid the floors of the pestilence that subsequently spread.

Yet while they were busy, missives were being pinned around Balian by hooded figures...

[!]

Missives could be seen being pinned on the noticeboards of Balian soon after the attack, if one were to look closely they could see the skeleton hands of the hooded figures spreading them.

"To the worshippers of GOD"

"I must say with how much you flaunter your fate, I expected your weddings to be more exciting"

"Next time.. invite me, Igarashi Shirunai"

"AGAIN?! WHEN IS THIS GUY GOING TO DIE?" Jorogumo could not believe IGARASHI did it again. Nevertheless, she was proud of her student.

The attack, unprovoked, unexpected, and unholy was etched within the Cardinal's mind. He had managed to escape the radius of the explosion. Yet the noxious fumes had gotten to him. He remained within the clinic of Portoregne, coughing whilst medics attended to him. Lorelei had provided him with sage and honey tea to soothe his throat and lungs. Perhaps he shall recover.

Yet, all Ivan could feel was wroth. For the wicked lay their claws upon the faithful. They mock their holy sacraments.

ALL of Iblees's Entourage MUST be eradicated. The South WILL be cleansed of the wicked.

Esfir spent the night tending to her children; in particular, the three who had attended the wedding with her. She assured each of them were unharmed and tucked them in, all the while attempting to steady her own trembling hands. Beneath her dress, bruises and small cuts lined her back. But Achillius, Aleksandrand Caliope were safe, and that was enough for the d'Arkent to rest easier.

"And yet, Janus's flock were the enemy," a Paladin lamented from his exile, Cerrick quickly downing his tea as he packed his belongings.

A travelling druid, dressed in greens and clad in soft flowers, passed on the road of Balian towards the coast. She eyes the paper again with an exasperated sigh, as the paper was crumpled up and lit aflame by a nearby torch - allowing the ashes to sprinkle down onto the path.

"I don't think his senpai noticed him ... or whatever the Oyashi say nowadays."

Victor had eyes the snake corpses coming down in slow motion. His eye flickered wide, drifting down upon the Prince, to be married, his bride, and his favorite clergymen.

"GET AWAY FROM THEM." He did bellow, his shield coming to his hand quickly. From the far back, amidst the screams and panic, he watched the fool hearty and brave walk towards the dead flesh of a wretched bombs.

The boom came all the same. His shield motioned infront of himself, and his daughter, and caught the shrapnel that might bounce at them in the far end, with a pitter and patter drowned out by frantic footsteps.

He eyed all exit. With coughing fits and a devilish stench lingering.

And it simply felt all too familiar.

“Remove your uniform, Eros,” the prince stated firmly. “And get out of my sight.”

Recovering from prostration, the disgraced captain turned a heel and fled. The trust of a nation was bestowed upon him, and he had failed to return in kind.

Alone then, the sorry man held an empty bottle by his side and a blade unto his heart, his resolve nearly steeled, though his breaths were faltering and unsure. The darkness of his intent beckoned the blade nearer, pressing cold ferrum unto bare skin.

But its edge never did draw crimson. Instead, a new resolve settled within the recesses of his mind until it finally permeated his every thought and his breath steadied with clarity. It was decided. "Igarashi Shirunai..." The man spoke then, barely above that of a whisper.
