We, the Crown, are in need of a Royal Curator to fill the role following the retirement of the former Curator, Lord Rickard Kortrevich. As to remind our people what the role entails we shall explain briefly the expectations of the position. The Royal Curator shall sit on the Aulic Council as the cultural adviser, master of archives, and as the Kingdom’s pre-eminent historian. They are entrusted as well to find suitable individuals to make up their office and act as historians and teachers to aid in the process of educating our peoples.

Further adding to the Curator’s responsibilities will be done through new means devised by the King to both make the position a more functional one as well as to reach a wider group of peoples. History and its study will no longer be unofficially limited to those born with the means to be well educated regardless of aptitude but to all Haeseni peoples. From farmers in Waltonburg all the way to those who live more simple lives in the Haeseni hinterlands. All should have access to a basic education of our long spanning and accomplished history as well as our culture and its importance. 

As such, the Royal Curator will work in tandem with the Band of Saint Tuvya. The Band’s commitment to building up better infrastructure, by way of renovating roads, building hubs of worship and gathering places in the often neglected regions of the Kingdom, and preserving or enhancing natural spots of beauty where people might congregate, will be utilised in part by the office of the Curator. Not just will lessons be held in classrooms and at our court but throughout the land and to all those from different walks of life. 

Therefore, the Most Honourable DAVYD COLBORN @JuliusAakerlund, Margrave of Kazan, has been selected as a more than fitting replacement as exemplified by work on ‘The Principality of Slesvik’ and on account of his general aptitude. His Majesty King Karl IV entrusts Lord Davyd Colborn with the Lead Bulava as Royal Curator of Hanseti-Ruska.
