Dear citizens, friends and neighbours,
It is with great joy that I announce Venic's first WinterFest Masquerade, a unique event that marks the beginning of the winter festivities for our small community. As council leader, I am delighted to invite you to participate in this time of celebration and merriment as we prepare to experience our winter traditions together. Let us set aside, if only for a moment, our differences, to enjoy life and spend time with our loved ones.
I invite you to join me for a night of celebration, not only of music and dance, but also of food and jousting! (If you wish to participate in the jousting tournament, please bring clothing that you are not afraid to get dirty!). This year's theme will be inspired by nature in all its forms: whether it is as big as a dragon or as small as a hare, every living creature will find a place.

The event program includes:
Masquerade Ball: A classic ball with masks, music and dance!
WinterFest Banquet: Enjoy an unparalleled culinary feast while soaking in the musical atmosphere and the company of friends and family.
Jousting Tournament: Bring your horse, bring your lance! For we are Jousting!

A Vortician Bardmancer would recieve the missive and look at it, seeing his family was invited. Bastian would then lay the parchment on his desk as he debated going to the event, especially since the Free City sat in the heart of the Crusade that took his home.

Norido would discover the missive pinned to a wall near the town of Venic, taking a moment to give it a read, he'd comment "This is most likely some sort of trap for the Vortician diaspora. . . the canonists are really getting creative on how they try and kill off our kind."
