  1. Yee man, these days I just rp on my characters and try and chill. I'm not touching the geopol side of this server again, like ever, it's just not worth it, especially when the outcome can already be predicted with the same cycle.
  2. How much have any of my personas affected your personas? also hiiiiiiiiii Dyvy
  3. Glad I've taken a bit of a break on here. I like how in the three years I've been playing, nothing seems to have changed. Other servers I play don't suffer from such issues, or at least not as severely as here.
  4. Yeah, I've been experiencing some serious burnout when it comes to the server. As much as I try to, I find it literally impossible to get rid of my grudges that I had formed against xyz clan or nation years ago, and I can be honest, it's been exhausting to log on and roleplay anymore, with me mentally going back to "is there really a point to doing xyz and roleplaying xyz if xyz will invade and or xyz will do xyz without telling us." I know I joined in September 2023, and that I'm most likely very very new compared to most players on here, but I mean, is it really healthy to spend time on and investing in a system that you don't see being fair or beneficial to you? This is another edit; on a side note, is it just me, or have people generally become more bitter and toxic recently? I don't remember it being as bad as it is now when I first joined.
  5. Hmm, let's see, that's a great question. Norido This one would be next to impossible, but not impossible, they'd probably try to throw things at me in my room, or will possess me to mentally torment me, really badly, possibly with several nightmares every night. But I could at least talk for a little bit. They wouldn't know much about our modern world of course, but I know certainly they would hate the current geopolitical landscape of everything, with no one being seen in a positive way, as this poltergeist isn't very tolerant to begin with. They would also almost certainly hate any of the historical empires if he was told about them. Zhulrak This one would also be practically impossible without possible death or serious injury, as they're a ghoul, they would not take too kindly to the human that they stumble across. Not to mention that they'd smell really really bad. So yes, I would probably get eaten alive by a ghoul, or have them latched onto me like a leech, not a nice experience. Plus, if they didn't kill me to start, they'd probably hide, and strike in the middle of the night. Seth This would be the only active persona that I'd be able to talk to. They are generally friendly towards everyone, and sometimes very naive, commonly accidentally getting themselves in bad situations; they are also severely visually impaired. I think we'd get along quite well, best mates almost, though it would be a lot to try and explain or teach topics about the modern world to them. That being said, they'd probably have an existential crisis after their brain breaks, if they find out that I played their character on my computer.
  6. I stepped back from the server quite a bit, after I got tangled up in the whole "us vs them", Empire vs XYZ mindset, so I don't really know what's fully going on, or the specifics behind it, but I just wanted to say that the toxicity I'm seeing in places makes me dissapointed. Please people if we could just take a step back and think through our actions and words more, and calm down, and to realise that it's just a multiplayer server on a block game. As a new player, if I saw this kind of stuff going on, I would've reconsidered my decision to join the server, since it raises questions on if this is normal for this community, or if it's just a one off thing.
  7. How many more of these guys are going to have to resign for something to change man, I wish you luck and good vibes CrunchiestLeaf 🫡🫡🫡🫡
  8. As a personal antidote, I believe back last map I was CRPing against a bandit or something on my newly created character, and got a whole one, maybe if I was lucky two emotes total, to defend myself before I was killed, I did decide against calling for a moderator out of the belief that they'd side with the other user. This left me deeply frustrated and resentful OOCly, but I did eventually get over it, and am now just regaining the courage to roleplay a typical human again :) +1 I support these ideas
  9. Yeah I'm not grinding all of that for xyz war or raid. As an RPer I heavily dislike the whole no CBs thing, and it's rather interesting to see the other server I play on go to having no CBs to CBs, and then LotC to CBs to no CBs. Literally adding back CBs even if they were easier to get would remove a lot of friction I have. How did you guys as a 'hardcore roleplay' server manage to make it easier to war for pvpers than the other one I play that I can't name for obvious reasons lmfao
  10. I don't think this is a question of if in my opinion, it's more so when, if we look at where things are going right now. I'll say that I've regained a lot of joy I've had in the server by creating a somewhat empire-aligned human character, and not taking things too seriously like I used to, but I do also think that for any server it's not healthy for one group to control everything, because then it's all the same, and it stagnates; it's why some other servers I play have systems in-place to sort of, stop that from happening. I think a staff created evil nation or empire or something to break up the monopoly would be pretty cool to see
  11. I don't think I've met you much here, but you seem like a nice genuine person, :D. I wish I could've made my path on here differently, recently I've been seeing a lot of newer players than myself, enjoying the server. Sep 2023 player here; and since then I've hardened in a way and became more cynical to the playerbase and staff team, and lost a lot of motivation and joy after the idea of the game being rigged OOCly and ICly stayed in my mind, but here's hoping that it'll change, it may someday, and I might be back, and we could possibly RP together :D
  12. Yeah I will join into this bet, because I know I'll win. They invaded almost every nation last map, or infiltrated them, so I don't see why they can't just do it again this map. I feel like a lot of people are starting to realise that this is a chess board, but The Empire already got dozens of turns in, the game has almost ended, and now you're expected to try and compete
  13. To this day, from mid-late 2024 until now, I still hold some grudges out of character against the concept of The Empire in general, and don't feel comfortable creating any new character that starts there, or in any affiliated or allied territories, and instantly think any attempt to go against the Empire is not possible long term, as the game is rigged in their favor, and to be honest, I'm not even completely sure why I still hold this grudge. That being said, I apologise if I've hurt you if you're reading this from what I said in the global chat, I think the Empire does contribute a lot of good roleplay, not just for me, but for a lot of people I've met too, and a lot of people there I meet out of character as-well remain friendly, I used to even attend warclaims for the empire, even if I don't like to admit it
  14. [!] Luckily the ghost of Norido was quite far from Haelu'nor, well before this happened, after he want exploring, he currently doesn't know about these recent events.
  15. The ghost of Norido would stumble across this missive flying in the wind near the Haelu'nor and Empire border, it could come to rest in a nearby tree. The ghost would have a glace at it, thinking nothing much of it initially, but as he read through the missive, his calm expression turned bitter, and resentful. "Yuck. They survived the move to Azuras; Of course they're invading my homelands again, there seems to have been no change since Vortice. Perhaps it's right for every single human on Azuras to start to feel some pain, though when they start feeling it, these little sheep will gather around their so called worm of a 'GOD'." The ghost then proceeds to storm off in a fit of rage, probably going off to cool off in a cave somewhere most likely.
