It is with this missive that I, Aurel von Theonus, hereby announce my abdication as patriarch of the von Theonus family. Over the past 50 years as patriarch the family has grown from Margravate to Duchy through the support of you all, my family, and with that I could not be more proud of our accomplishments. I could not have done this alone, and for that I have you all to thank.

 

With this announcement, my chosen heir, Thomas von Theonus will take over where I have left off and lead our family to greater prosperity and success. He inherits all titles and responsibilities associated with such a position. May the family continue to grow, and prosper under his watch.
