IT IS ON THIS DAY, that the House of Jazlowiecki announces the death of its Margravine, Catherine Jazlowiecki, born as Catherine Éloïse Ashford de Lewes to the former Baron of Virdain, Henri Leufroy Ashford de Lewes.

 

Catherine’s body was discovered in the ruins of Whitespire, situated in front of where the bridge to the Hand of Horen once stood. Her cause of death is still unknown, with no noticeable injuries except for malnourishment, and upon further inspection, her belongings had been tossed off into the body of water surrounding the ruins. 

 

The House will continue to investigate for suitable evidence of the cause of death. All that has been noted was the distance the late Margravine held towards people and those who knew her.

John of Aaun, who had long since predeceased Catherine, though remained even in death a religious zealot (and in part oddly optimistic), offered as he welcomed his godchild into the Skies. Perhaps, if the Lord would have it so, even being among the first that would have come to greet her.

Just as I am TRULY sorry for dying just after your wedding, by the way. Totally my bad that happened. Though we have all eternity to discuss it, daughter. As well as to pray. That those who come after us will learn from it all and refrain from making the same mistakes. Because if the Lord is merciful, as He tends to be, and grant that they do, then, by His grace, that vision He did bestow in my final moments may yet one day come to hold true. And say it does, then, well, all the sacrifices made by any we may have known will not have been in vain, and all may benefit."

"Truly it is a shame and on such joyous news that has just passed our family, we now experience loss." Antonia Letizia frowned quite deeply, however unsure of how to feel despite never meeting her yet she was still sad as it was the loss of someone who'd done great things during her time. "A shame someone so great has been taken so soon.
