Karina 1896 Share Posted January 12, 2025 Damaged as he was, Sorrel could only bear one eye towards the news that he had received. Some measure of weight fell into his brow, especially when his lingering injuries ached at the back of his mind. No small amount of suffering, with the remains of those acidic wounds on his skin. All that matters was that what accounted for his being, was secured. "High Prince, I am a soldier as much as a scholar. With this unfortunate news, I would commit myself in aid. It will take me some small time to recover, from my current wounds. But I will heal, before serious movement into this should occur. To fight along side you again would be a privilege, and an honor. Light warm our path, Sorrel."
Jihnyny 5233 Share Posted January 13, 2025 Sitting atop the high ridge that borders the barren and the bountiful, Vulkhan, tribe-member of the Mâdrak Urukiim, asks for a translation onto the garment. He meets a Goblin who is willing to help, and begins to tell his speech; · · ─────── ·𖥸· ─────── · · Dear Galahad Ilumrin, the High Prince of Caurost, We met acquaintances two days past. You had explained to me the situation of the wooden tribes, and their druidic wise-men being less of philosophers, and more of the scholar type. I was now given a piece of paper with your nation’s notice. I, Vulkhan of the Mâdraki, offer my axe and my skill of hunting in your expedition. I ask for nothing but the opportunity to search for an answer to my questions. If you find this acceptable, be kind enough to send a letter back. No, wait, thats not right. Something could be better. Mention; If you find this acceptable, I’d appreciate it if you wrote back. Also remember this was written by the best Goblin ever and he is found to be the best of scribes. Fare in peace Galahad, may the spirits bless you. · · ─────── ·𖥸· ─────── · ·
Hodgeling 403 Share Posted January 29, 2025 (edited) A letter finds its way to the office of the High Prince, with no discernable crest or name save for a deep blue wax seal pressed with a four-sided star. 'Dear Galahad, I believe I may have insights that could benefit you on an expedition. Should the stars align, I would like to accompany you. Your efforts would be invaluable to my own search for answers. Perhaps we could meet soon. I'd like to discuss some details with you which you may find of value. - Irulan, Helwyr of Tal'andria' Edited January 29, 2025 by Hodgeling
