The Workforce Anew
 

 

I hereby announce the immidiate departure of Vollok Frostbeard as Yemekar's Pick. I will fill this position in his leave, in hopes of propelling the Urguani Workforce to yet unseen heights. Together with the leaders of the seperate guilds I have been making plans for our workers to prosper, all of which I will detail below.

 

 

Key Changes

• Reimplementation of the quota system.

The former quota system will be reinstated, giving each worker an easy way of earning mina and participating in the Workforce. A weekly quota will be put up on a dedicated sign at the workforce area, and if reached by a worker they will recieve a payslip which they can exchange for their pay. All current quota boxes will be removed and replaced (If you want a quota box, send me a DM on discord # scatmanpro).

 

This system will carry three different levels, reachable by gaining worker's points:
Apprentice: 0 worker's points, the starting level. Grants acess to the mines.

Worker: 100 worker's points, the middle level. Gives you permission to host workforce lessons and buy from the worker's points shop.

Master: 250 worker's points, the highest level. Makes you eligable to become guild lord or Yemekar's Pick. 

 

How can one gain worker's points?
Worker's points can be obtained by completing the weekly quota - 35 points per quota reached. Attending workforce lessons and events grants 30 points, the same goes for hosting these. Worker's points can be handed out by the current Yemekar's Pick at their discretion. Points can also be bought at the price of 1 mina per point.

Worker's points can be used to buy certain items from the workforce:

• Custom weapon or armor piece (basic material, i.e. steel, ferrum, slayersteel...) - 35 points.
• Private smithing or masonry lesson (basic material) - 60 points.

• Weekly crafting events.

Weekly crafting events/lessons will be hosted, covering different topics. Comissions will oftentimes be made during these crafting sessions, where the profit will be devided between all participants. As before, a tax cut of 5 mina a week will be given out to whoever attends an event. This will be done to boost activity within the Workforce and increase participation.

• New White Hammer guild lord.

With me taking over as Yemekar's Pick I will not be able to lead the White Hammer guild. Therefore the Workforce is in search of a new guild leader. If you have any recommendations, please send them to me! All questions regarding the White Hammer should still be directed to me while we search.

• Workforce Bazaar.

A Workforce bazaar has been under construction near Urguan's soulstone pillar for a while now, and only the interior remains to be built. The Grand Opening is not far away! A good portion of the shop will be dedicated to selling wares coming out of the quota system, though parts of it will be up for rent by other people, with discounts on rent for Workforce members. Further information on this will follow.
