[+Points For Thinking About It And Being More, Tactical] : I would first of all make a distraction, like sending one of the recruits without armor when we try to come from behind, when we other try to do an ambush, if nessesary we would shoot them with bow and arrows in the woods but if possible i would plan an ambush and then strike them from behind when the recruit drags his sword out, i think this would make them weak if we attack them from the both side and surround them, if possible i would try to arrest them

Option 1) (if there where 3 or less bandits) i would tell the other two recruits to take the high ground and wait in ambush and tell them to only attack when i say i am "to poor", The i would walk up the raod and meet the bandits, When the bandits aproch me i would tell them i don't have that kind of money, i am "to poor" to feed my family. At this point the two other recruit would of jumped from the high ground and taken the bandits by surprise, i would quickly draw my sword and join in the fight, therefore evening the odds.

Possitive: i am only putting myself in most danger

Negative: Relying on suprise and stealth

Option 2) (if there where 4-6 bandits) i would tell the recruit to pick up bows and arrows, we would follow the hills of the kings road untill we found the bandit camp. We would set up some quick defence boundries (like trenches and bunkers) so it would slow the bandits down if they got closer, once the defences where made i would tell my fellow recruits to take out their bows and aim at 1 bandit each to cause damage and to bring fear in to there camp, then (1) If they routed and left thier camp we would go down and take anything they left back tp oren as evidence (2) If the charged i would tell my fellow recruits to keep firing, as they came up the hill the would slow down and lose men due to the bows and arrows, If they got close i would tell the men to draw their swords and fight them off, The trenches and bunkers would limit the ammount of bandits that could attack at one time.

Possitive: i am perparing in advance for the worst

Negative: i am going aginst the odds

Option 3 (if there where 7 or more bandits) I would Set up a diversion around the camp , helping the travelers getting past while i sent one of the recruits to get reinforements from the neighbouring towns

"Allright, If this happened to me, I'd tell my recruits to, without the bandits seeing them, go round the "toll" to round them up, then I'd approach them and ask them what they are doing, depending on the answer, my reaction would differ, if they said they were about to leave, I'd tell the recruits to watch them as they go, and if they decide to come back, to arrest/fine them. If they said the truth, and would persist in their stubborn mood, I'd ask them to leave, if they didnt want to, I'd arrest them, If they Resisted, I'd Attack them, but that would be extreme, since I'd have the recruits helping me arrest them, I guess they would leave, seeing themselves chased by "Trained" Swordsmen, finally, if they got arrested, We would fine them, all the money they Stole plus what the rule book says."

I know that I haven't been very active since I came back, but that's only because I have a final math exam tomorrow. Trying not to screw it up.

Your Experience : I served as a guard for the guild The White Ravens but otherwise the majority of my experience comes from fighting monsters in the wild.

Describe Yourself : I am a Northerner originally from the Wildewyn forests but I left those forests long ago. I was a lumberjack by profession for a while but I sought something more adventurous but I haven't really found a fully professional, organized and honorable organization to join but I am quite impressed with the Oren Military and I would be honored to be counted amongst their ranks.

Why should we recruit you? : It is difficult for me to express the content of my character in this applicaiton but I can assure you that I will serve Oren loyally any way I can. Whether on gate duty or fighting the Undead, I will put forth my full effort. I will follow the oreders of my superiors and will defend the interests of the people of Oren and I am sure that, given the oppurtunity, I would prove this to be the case.

What are your strengths? Weaknesses? : I am a decent swordsman and a strong warrior. I am a dedicated public servant and am able to communicate with the public and resolve disputes. I also have extensive experience with lumberjacking and have decent background in blacksmithing. My weaknesses include rather weak archery skills and I am blind in one eye (due to a childhood accident).

Do you know how to handle a weapon? [sword/Axe Skill Level] : My father loosely trained me to use a sword as a child but I haven't had formal training. I also previously served as a guard where I wielded a sword with decent skill. (lvl 30) My axe skills don't really extend beyond lumberjacking so I prefer to fight with a sword.

Ambitions For The Future? : I wish to fulfill a noble and glorious military career. I also wish to make an impact on Oren through public service whether settling domestic disputes or fighting Oren's enemies. I wish to serve Oren and protect Oren from enemies foreign and domestic.

:A group of bandits are camped on the Kings Road. Ordering a toll for passing. Its only you and two other recruits on duty. You decide to grab some armour and head out there. What do you do? [+Points For Thinking About It And Being More, Tactical] :

I would first begin by anylizing intelligence at hand by listening to the reports of the citizens who were stopped by the bandits to determine the number of bandits and there armaments. To further confirm this intelligence I would also either scout out the bandits myself or send a recruit out to do it. If there are more than three well armed bandits and I'm not able to gather reinforcements I would not risk an attack outnumbered and unarmed as it would be a futile loss of resources. Instead of an attack I would assign the recruits to close off the road and not allow any travelers to travers the area where the bandits are known to occupy. By doing this, the bandits would likely lose interest because there are not travelers to rob. I would also send word out to other organizaitons to seek reinforcements as well as attempt to gather up temporary civilian soldiers and, if the attack is safe, I would arrest the bandits.
