The Oren Guard

I would like to announce our new Captains. Two experiences Lt's in Hayden and Huron.

We will hopefully be better organising the ranking system and Khronos and I will be working on a 'justice system' where all the crimes and punishments will be detailed.

The Guard are recruiting! Recently we have found ourselves short of numbers, but we have hopefully sorted that out.

Recently recruited are Bradford, Kashi, Thaddeus and Oneith.

Recently promoted are Mystogan and Gortan.

Could all guards please try and report themselves to an officer when they are on duty, it helps us recognise those who is doing their duty, but don't be bothering them constantly.

From now on our main priority will be manning the outpost on the King's Road and doing the new gate procedure I have shown to many, If you were not there, then ask around.

We now have a uniform! I expect all guards to be wearing the correct uniform now.

The Oren Rangers

Do you know how to handle a weapon?[sword/Axe Skill Level: Note: To become a full guard you must achieve at least 30 Sword Skill] : Skills have been Turned off so all my stats are at zero. When they come online I will work on them.

Describe Yourself : I am a very fierce warrior when it comes to fighting but I always try to give everyone a chance to tell their side of a story ,unless its undead then they don't get a chance, Then I try too deal with the situation the best way I can.

Describe what "Being a Guard" means to you : To defend a city from thieves, attackers, and general unorderness and can be put into an army.

How would you treat a citizen in need? : I would ask them what they needed help with and try to help them if there problem would make Oren a safer place. So that I wouldn't help someone trying to "get back at someone".

((Sergeant John here. I am not active on the server these days because of college taking up my time, and personal issues at home. I hope I can return sometime soon, but for now, I think it's better if my name is taken off the list since I'm no good up there. Also what kind of message is it to new guards if a sergeant is less active than they are. I will try to come back soon though.

Your Reasons to join the Oren Guard :1, I wan't to help citizens in need. I see a lot of people fighting, or just in need of help. 2, I need a job to occupy my time, I spend most of my time doing nothing.

Your Experience : Every night, I slay any monster I find. I have also helped people in other servers by acting as a guard. The batttle at Kramoroe. (Or however you spell it)

Have you faced any evil before? What kind? : I've seen Undead slipping through the gates, and once one at Therving Brothers tavern. I also kill monsters every night.

Do you know how to handle a weapon? [sword/Axe Skill Level] : Due to skills being off, 0. But I will train them up once skills is turned on.

Describe Yourself : Kind, but can be strict, Everything is for the good of others, not myself. I want to hear the side of each story.

Describe what "Being a Guard" means to you : Making sure no one "sinister" gets into the city, breaking up common fights inside the city, and sometimes just patrolling the streets. Every guard also has to remember to hear each side of the story, and to protect the people over yourself.

How would you treat a citizen in need? : If the citizen needed directions, I would try my best to answer them. If the citizen was worried about someone looking suspicious, I would try to calm them down, then investigate further. If the citizen was in a fight, or planning to hurt someone, I would try to calm them, and try my best not to use violence unless needed.

Ambitions For The Future? : Try to move up the ranks, hope to improve my swords, and I hope to help the people, and whoever is in need.

Your Reasons to join the Oren Guard : As a trained and fearless warrior I seek to use my skills to protect the Kingdom of Oren and it's people, even if it means putting myself in harms way. Seeing how I don't have much skill in "non-fighting" jobs, being a Guard of the mighty Kingdom of Oren would allow me to do something actually useful to everyone.

Your Experience : I have fought many battles with The Undead, including The Battle for Snowy Fields. We may have lost Snowy Fields, but I Will NEVER see the day that we lose Oren.

Have you faced any evil before? What kind? : Yes I have faced many different types of evil from Thieves and thugs, to the Deadly Undead forces.

Do you know how to handle a weapon? [sword/Axe Skill Level: Note: To become a full guard you must achieve at least 30 Sword Skill] : My Sword skill is lvl 10, "used to be 34 but something glitched and reset it, and as for my axe skill it is a fairly good at 17.

Describe Yourself : I am a lone warrior with not much left in the world to lose, but I will never give up at something, even if it means losing my life.

Describe what "Being a Guard" means to you : Being a gaurd to me means protecting all citizens from danger, of any type, protect The Great Kingdom of Oren, and to obey my superiors.

How would you treat a citizen in need? : I would help them if need be, and only if it was a legal thing they needed help with.

Ambitions For The Future? : My ambitions for the future are to slowly earn my rank in the Great Kingdom of Oren, and one day be a noble Knight, just as my father was.

I have fought anything from thieves, to pigmen, to Undead. Ghasts, Slimes, and Undead Minions are included too.

Yes I have hours of practice from fighting monsters in abanded mineshafts I visit in my free time. ((My skills are none because the skills system is currently broken))

I am a quiet man that farms for a living. If there's a battle and Oren needs help, I come. My hobbies are bow crafting, cookie baking, and traveling. I am sturdy but caring, strong but polite.

Describe what "Being a Guard" means to you :

Being a Guard is the wall between the people of Ageis and harm. Guards are overseers of peace and help keep it in balance.

How would you treat a citizen in need? :

I would politely ask them about their situation. Then either start solving the situation or get some fellow guards to help if it comes down to that. I would wish the citizen a wonderful day and leave with them happy and at peace.

Ambitions For The Future? :

I hope to become very rich and settle down in a big house. I would also like to either be king, prince, or just a politician of Oren. As long as I keep myself strong, the future looks bright.
