LobsterLarry 1514 Share Posted February 4, 2025 Vinovian Company Marches On Issued by the Vinovian Company On the 19th of The Amber Cold, 2014 Throughout the many years of squalor the faithful Vinovians are ever restless, searching for a place where they can feel at peace. A place for freedom from the hells of battle, a place to call home. The many battles the Vinovian’s have faced throughout the ages only show to their indomitable courage and ferocity. The mercenary company filled with skilled fighters and devout priests is only matched in bravery as the drakes that soar the sky. It was the crack of dawn when the Vinovian Captain, Vargys, was issued a letter with a fresh seal, calling for their aid against the aggressions against the Vale. With quick pace, Vargys dispatches his loyal guards to find arms, and to spread word that Vinovia will be preparing for war. “I believe that it is the right of all to be free and unshackled by the perils that surround our every day life. It is our mission in life to free those from tyranny and protect the innocent. We pray to Valaen that these monsters will cease their nonsensical aggressions against the Vale so that we can embrace a few more years of peace. What? Vinovia is a mercenary group, yes, however we fight more for honor and the sanctity of the few who may not be able to fight for themselves. Will we ask for payment? All that we ask is that those who are abused are freed, and that their abusers meet a swift end.” - Vargys when questioned about his thoughts on the Vale Conflict. The Vinovian Company marches forward in due haste to their allies in the West, hoping to arrive in time to teach them the ways of war, and to ready defenses in the case of looming danger.
