We, the Crown, wish to express our most profound gratitude to Prinzenas Milena of Galahar who served us faithfully as our Lady Palatine for eighteen years and also performed the duties of the Emissar before being bestowed the Gold Bulava for sixteen years prior. Her Highness also must be thanked for their help as a regent on the regency council during the minority of King Karl IV. Having offered us her resignation citing that it is time to retire to allow the next generation to serve their Kingdom, we have followed her advice and found an energetic replacement to act in tandem with His Majesty as a guiding hand for the Kingdom.

As is the prerogative of the Crown, we do hereby appoint Firr Tomasz van ve Karoswald @garentoft to the position of Lord Palatine on account of his selfless and unbiased advice thus far as well as having displayed competency and a way with the people of the Kingdom that would be a boon to the Crown. King Karl IV entrusts Firr Tomasz with the Gold Bulava as Lord Palatine of Hanseti-Ruska to be wielded in his name.

Let this appointment be recorded in the annals of our history, and let all subjects acknowledge and respect the authority of the appointee and their office. We thank Prinzenas Milena once more for their years of leal service and pray they have a peaceful retirement.

Princess Milena looked over that appointment, with its reminder of those thirty-four years of long and sometimes arduous service. And still, she did not regret a single moment of it. She had served the Haeseni people, governed a kingdom, and raised a young King to his majority.

 

Now, it was Tomasz's turn. She hoped that man of common birth could live up to her expectations - she trusted Karl's judgement. And of course, he had always served a fine drink.
