Well, maybe the colored marks are just for really high ranking orcs?

Would make sense for only the high ranks cause we have many many many low ranks, and few high ranks so it would be good for only the high ranks to have them cause it would be easier to make marks for only 4 ranks instead of all 20 something ranks having their own mark

Sorry, I should've been a bit more clear. LIke Urara just said, what I was originally proposing was that only high ranking officers would have these markings. Grunts would not. The only people that could have the markings would only be those who are allowed to make decisions in Krugmar (Mogroka/Khesig/Generals/"diplomats/officials"/etc). This would be for the average orc/outsider to discern who is a ranking officer, even if that person has armor on. It could be further broken down into a color system, such as Mogroka would have his own color, Khesig/military leaders have their own color, and diplomats/officials/w/e they are have their own color.

Yeah. Looking at some skins, it's hard to tell if someone has authority or not. For instance, Urara typically goes around without armor (makes it easier for people to identify me as female). As a result, new orcs typically regard me as just another orc. If the Kheshig had, say, a red mark under their eye or on their cheek or something, new orcs would see that and know not to mess with me.

I choose red for the Kheshig because red seems to be the Warlord's color. All the red on the Rex palace, etc. And the Kheshig are the Warlord's chosen men.

Well if I can't have red for the krughai I think we should have black or something like that(I won't be getting the gay blue like in the last one)

Uhmm I don't know. I think we should talk with mogroka before we decide this things. But I would like either orange or black

Just throwing ideas out there. Of course Mogroka needs to approve it first.

I think blue is more of a "magical" color. Would be good for shamans.

Just need to keep them a bright enough color/shade that they would stand out on most orc skin types (i.e. no green)

A lot of Orcs have facial scarring which could lead to confusion, maybe you could make it a painted design on the arms?

Armbands or arm tattoos could work as well. I'd like to see more orcs with tattoos because tattoos are cool IMO. We just have to make it obvious so you know at first glance who you're talking to.

The Kheshig have a symbol, that being the Gorkil symbol with the black/white inverted. That's what Blaw wears on his shoulders. The Krughai have no symbol, though I think it would be cool to see something based from the Scorpion of the Warnation (I was going to do something like that for the Kheshig symbol, but couldn't figure out something appropriate that didnt consume too much space)

I did a tiny scorpion on Gragarn's shoulders. Ask him to show you his shirtless skin.
