The blonde often visited Jun-Lei, Ciradyl resided there either way, an abode where her daughter and spouse sat within. However, she stopped herself on the pathway, her attention caught by something further ahead.

She had no will to enter her house yet, nothing, for her mind was disgruntled, filled with thoughts. Perhaps it was time to self-reflect. Her gaze drifted toward the newly grown tree. After years of watching it as a seedling, it had finally flourished into its full form. Yet, she had never taken the time to truly appreciate its growth. Props to the botanist who had placed it there.

She stared up at the bubblegum-colored tree, a fleeting silence shared between her and the wind, her hands resting against its rough bark. There was nothing for the Mali’ to say at the moment, only to take in the moment and simply appreciate the pink-hued tree.

Shifting her focus toward the pond, the woman fell to her knees, staring down into its still waters. Her gaze softened as she placed her hands on her lap.

Self-reflecting is hard, that is no doubt.

All that laid there was the Mali’s reflection.

"Hard work bears great rewards."

She had told her Oem’ii those very words, just as they had once been told to her when she was an Oem’ii herself. She had heard them for the rest of her life, yet a question lingered within the crevices of her mind.

Had she truly reaped the great rewards of her hard work? Yes, she had gained her land, her dreams had finally come true. Yet, at what cost? Her mental stability?

The words of Lady Llora echoed in her memory.

"How do I know you won’t backstab me?" the Soltee had asked, her voice laced with hesitance.

"Why would I?"

"You’re building land with me… We’re working on a project."

"Vyr a Llir, Llora." The Akaln’riv spoke with amusement, a hint of confusion in her voice. What a strange question, considering their relationship.

"You’re fed up with Celia’nor and the nobles that affect your Talonnii… Why wouldn’t you? You have a good reason to switch from good to bad."

It’d be a lie to state that those words didn’t hurt.

The woman stared at her Llir for  a second, her fist balling up for a mere moment. She stayed there, lingering silent for the hefty minute that she stood within the Soltee’s house. She seemed nearly disappointed by the reaction.

“Oh.”

Her heart ached. Perhaps the words the Mali with fenn-colored hair spoke were true. Perhaps there was still more heartache to endure.

She needed someone to remember her- after all she had done.

How many Celias must she surround herself with? How many of their comments had she endured just to get where she was?

She needed someone to remember her.

Spoiler

I got BORED! And decided it'd be silly for me to write this, nothing special, just a silly Ciradyl Post.

Meanwhile a Newly Made Noble from the star land was now lasting within her balcony in her brand new keep. She gazed the view seeing Kaelin and the further lands of Celia’nors outskirts.

Ember seemed to enjoy her own free time until…

“My lady?”

the Automaton spoke to her

“Ay’?”

the Automaton then spoke

”another Noble meeting was called for this year. Your presence is asked for once more.”

Ember groaned and sulked before she leaned back on the greenery, staring up at the Azure sky where birds flew freely.

” ’Absence doesn’t cultivate fruits’…screw you arch-lector. Wonder if Ciradyl will bless me with her presence…hm.”
