WITH THE RECENT CHANGES IN BALIAN’S DUANA, LA CORT DE LA TARONJA HAS FOUND ITSELF IN NEED OF A NEW PALATIODORA FOR MANY MONTHS. For twenty years, the Courts were led under the steadfast and dutiful ESFIR D’ARKENT, who has since been promoted to the role of Amiratus. She is thanked immensely for her service and the life she brought during her tenure, first under the tumultuous decade-long regency beneath CARDINAL IVAN, and later beneath KATHRYN OF RHEN. 

 

HOWEVER, WITH DUCHESS ESFIR’S LEAVE from the Courts, she and Her Majesty have busied themselves with the recruitment of interviews of a replacement to be head of the Council of Monterosa, and the Queen’s right hand advisor. After speaking with several promising and incredibly capable candidates, Her Majesty has found one fitting for the role. Thus, with great happiness, a new appointment to the Royal Duana is announced: Her Excellency, BARONESS CALLIOPE NOVELLEN-TUVIA, the Palatiodora of Balian.
