I feel like something should also be said about people forcing themselves to write more than they have to. There are people who will spend 15-20 minutes forcing themselves to write 1-2 paragraphs in a situation where it isn't necessary, and they have a difficult time doing so because the context doesn't warrant such a lengthy response. Additionally, a lot of the actions in these posts are just out-of-place filler text that don't help to convey information at all. The time that they spend coming up with an emote makes the people they're RPing with more inclined to tab out and shift their focus away from the RP, and so a scene that should only take an hour can drag on for 3. Obviously I'm not saying we should be seeing consistent one-liners either. Most of the time the context should at least allow you to write some dialogue and include actions/body language that help convey how your character is feeling, but if you can convey the intended message in a few sentences instead of a paragraph, you should do so.
