THE PACT OF KUSORAEV

Between the Dual Monarchy of Hanseti-Ruska and the Kingdom of Balian.

The Kingdom of Balian and the Dual Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska, hereafter referred to as "the signatories," mutually affirm the sovereignty and territorial claims of each realm. Both parties recognize the legitimate Canonist authority of their respective heads of state.

 

ARTICLE I: DEFENSE

The signatories commit to mutual military support in the event of aggression from a foreign power, and thus agree to abide by the following terms:

 

◆ An attack on one signatory shall be regarded as an attack on both.

◆ The signatories agree to refrain from any acts of martial aggression against one another.

◆ Any disputes arising between the signatories shall be resolved solely through peaceful and diplomatic means. 

◆ This clause may be amended into a full military alliance upon mutual agreement by both parties.

 

ARTICLE II: CULTURAL EXCHANGE

The signatories agree to foster cultural exchanges, such as official visits and shared festivities, to strengthen the relationship between their nations and to encourage a greater appreciation of each other's traditions and heritage among their peoples.

 

ARTICLE III: TRADE

The signatories shall allow the free movement of merchants between their states, and shall oversee the hosting of joint-market events to promote their respective economies. 

 

ARTICLE IV: EXTRADITION

The signatories pledge to allow extradition requests and to not offer aid to known criminals of each respective realm.

 

ARTICLE V: DURATION

This treaty takes effect immediately upon signing and will expire upon the death of either ruling monarch. After this term, the signatories will come together to review and potentially renegotiate the treaty's terms.
