I - Opening Prayer

Saint Karl,

Teach us the virtue of absolute dedication.

Show us how we might devote our entire beings,

In life, in death,

To the Light everlasting that watches over us,

Ve Eldervik.

Show us crows, how we might ascend

Like The sacred beasts we adore.

Show us how we might spread our wings over,

The weak, the young, the afraid,

To shield them from sin

And encompass them in virtue.

In Nomine Dei, et Nomine Exaltus,

Amen.

II - The Abbey to Be

Omnipresence is perhaps a deceiving word. Though it is undeniable, the Light Everlasting shines throughout every-aspect of life, there are certain times, certain places, where the Light is more visible, where it shines brighter and more spectacularly than others. This is why we, the faithful, curate and construct Holy Places, so that we can be more intimate with the brilliance of the Light Everlasting, the very light that constitutes all good things, and weaves together the crow, the ox, each and every child of Horen.

As begun by His Majesty, Koeng Karl IV, a monastery was to be constructed after the sitting of a beautiful, pure white stag in the woods off the River Lehy, into the hinterlands of the Haeseni territory. Upon its completion, it will become an Abbey; the heart of monastics for the Kingdom. It will then require an Abbot, to head its operations, recruit monastics to its service, and administer other priories that might become necessary should the monastic population of Haense reach such a threshold.

As such, I extend this opportunity to any Brother or Sister, who has sworn the monastic oaths, and feels themselves fit to run this Abbey to be. I encourage any such individuals to contact me for an interview. I look most forward to the various applicants who might seek such a position. I shall also note that individuals who wish to become either a Monk, or Nun, are welcome to approach me to undertake their vows, and begin their Holy service; this is also most encouraged as well.

III - The Future of the Jorenic Rite

Ve Eldervik, are faithful, pious, good-willed canonists- but this is a gross oversimplification of our vibrant, traditional and sacred faith. Our rite, the rite of St. Joren, is one that must be protected, upheld, promoted, and defended no matter what, and as Chief Priest of this rite, this obligation befalls myself foremost and absolutely. As such, several endeavours I plan to engage in for the promotion and protection of Jorenism as a distinct sect of Canonism.

First, myself and various clerics of the faith, will be holding public, open-forum lessons on the specifics of the rite, for the better evangelization and education of the lay-faithful. These will likely be Bi-weekly lessons.

Secondly, I am opening my tutelage up to any young women or men who wish to serve the church in one way or another; in particular three paths are open to any who seek to become true servants of God. Monastics, that is nuns and monks, Lay-preachers, who retain inheritance rites but aid the ordained ministers, and the clergy itself. Please inquire with my-self if you have any inquiries relating to these posts, for I would be pleased to offer information and tutor any who seek them.

Thirdly, as I have begin, I plan to expand the practices of the Jorenic rite, by creating more practicable ceremonies and rituals, and indeed, creating Jorenic versions of existing sacraments (such as ordination) that have yet to be properly written in the spirit of St. Joren and his faithful.

IV - In Memento ad Villorik

Unmistakably, the Haeseni and the Faith have suffered an immense, tragic loss. The predecessor to the office I now hold was a Stalwart warrior of the faith, and I often consider myself an incapable successor as I reminisce on the great deeds and countless lives the Patriarch impacted.

Nevertheless, I shall strive, with every fiber of my being, to restore and elevate the piety of the faithful of Jorenus. I shall close this section with a short prayer, that my guidance over the good people of our Kongzem might be impactful, encouraging, and enlightening;

O’lord, allow mea to Shepherd mea kindred and countrymen, with the same resolve, the same vill, and the same tenacity as the man who sat upon the Cathedra of St. Joren before, and may those who place themselves upon this seat thereafter be equally devoted servants to the holy people of Hanseti and Ruska.

V - Omnes Joren Festum

In wicked times, when pernicious sin spreads through the land; and indeed, through our own city, we must  strive in every moment and every way, to remind ourselves of the the eternal bond of heritage, of blood, of legacy, that all the Children of Horen share together, from the poorest serf to the wealthiest peers, to the wisest scholar; thus, I hereby announce that a new festival shall soon be inaugurated in celebration of our bonds. The All-Joren’s Feast, or Omnes Joren Festum is a festival meant specifically for sons and daughters of Saints. Joren and Juliya, to come together and break bread with one another as the chains of Joren were once broken; as he was freed from captivity, we shall free each other from the imprisonment of ignorance and hatred by making peace with one another over food, drink, and festivities.

An announcement outlining more in-depth details shall be released in the coming saints-weeks, as preparations are made for this Joyous occasion.

VI - A Cautionary Admonishment

As Patriarch, it is my sworn and solemn duty, to guide the faithful of Jorenus toward piety and their salvation, and be certain falsehoods and other notions that might lead them astray are dispelled before they find their insidious purchase into the hearts of goods, canonist Haeseni.

As we act towards uniting the entirety of mankind together under the banner of god, let us dispel the confusions of those who might seek to claim us heretical, or paganistic! In our great culture; stars, and constellations play a great role in many of our folk festivals, and astrological curiosity is a beautiful tenant of our lifestyle. This; ought to be celebrated in full. However, let us invoke some clarity; the Stars, Constellations, and Astrology are cultural aspects of our people, and nary a haesani claims these stars possess divinity, or ought to be invoked as only he, the lord should.

Yet; those few who might turn to astrology as faith, and the stars as Gods or the like; Ea admonish thee, for ye make a mockery of our culture, and of our faith, that has existed in clarity and harmony, for countless generations. Let us ensure, without any doubt, the continued beautiful, harmonious distinction between the two; feed not the hounds hawking at our gate, and prove those fools who claim the Haeseni unfaithful, wrong!

Within Valdev's basilica, a man found repose. Trembling hands found their way before his chest, clasped together as his knees turned weak, falling against the glazed floors with a fair share of exhaustion. In the Patriarch he held faith, through Godan he sought answers, and for his people he offered prayers. Silent things, denoted only by the rise and fall of a tongue.

Not a candle in sight. Him, in uncharacteristically drab garbs, no grand jewelry, and hope alone.
