Wayfarer's Auction: Long, Short & Tiny

Due to the relative success of our first auction, raising almost four thousand minas within only a few days we've released two further auctions of differing lengths in order to allow even more people to get involved. 

 

<A post detailing a number of items that are on auction within the Heavensward, the Aetheric Principality of Caelevar, can be found on most respectable friendly nations noticeboards. It details that in addition to a number of rent-free shops that can be claimed regardless of where you live, that you can also bid on the items listed. Including an ingot of Starsteel (Lunarite).>

 

The Long Auction (1 Month - Ends 16th April)

Items can be bid on by putting a bid on paper (signing it) and placing it in the barrel of the item that you're bidding on. You must be sure to sign the paper otherwise, your bid shall be considered invalid. If you wish to sell items through the Wayfarer's Auction you may do so by visiting and getting in contact with the owner of the facilities. All bids are final, however, the sellers do have the right to reject bids without explanation should circumstances require them to do so. This is to prevent 'bid-griefing' and other such negative situations.

 

Severed Harpy Wing: Starting Bid - 100 Minas

A rare high quality preserved item previously belonging to an elusive Harpy. Perfect for research, experimentation or to be kept as a trophy upon the wall of an avid Monster Hunter.

Lightning Step Ring: Starting Bid - 50 Minas

An enchanted ring with the power of teleportation. One merely needs to speak the activation phrase of Swift, before relying on the ring to transport them an additional six meters away. A useful trinket for escaping bandits, when every meter of distance matters.

Starsteel Ingot: Starting Bid - 999 Minas
A quantity of Starsteel equivalent to that of an ingot from the very stars themselves. Enchanted, this metal allows even mundane individuals to cast a spell without suffering from the effects of voidal weakness. Additionally, when a mage casts through an item crafted with this, they'll illuminate whatever nasty creatures might be around them hidden from sight.

Pheonix Gauntlet: Starting Bid - 100 Minas

An arcanium construct that allows one to fire at range in style, a flourishing swirl of golden metal places that churn to fire out slingshot ammunition at one's enemies when wielded by a competent user. If enchanted this shall reduce the time it takes to cast said enchantment spell, due to its composition.

Pheonix Ring: Starting Bid - 100 Minas

An enchanted ring that upon speaking the activation phrase of Asimulum, calls upon the enchantment, allowing a healer to place their hands over a wound and sear it shut. Potentially capable of allowing even a novice healer, or someone without any knowledge at all to treat someone else's wound, or even their own in a dire situation.

64 Blocks of Netherite equivalent to 576 ingots!

 

Arcane Spellshield (Arcanium): Starting Bid - 100 Minas

A shield of sunlight around a small metallic boss. When enchanted it will reduce the spellcasting time of whatever spell it is enchanted with.

Wooden Ring (Relic): Starting Bid - 100 Minas

A relic of a bygone era. Once blessed by Xan, this ring used to protect its wearer from curses and all manner of evils. Now it serves as a reminder for some, and an experimental artifact for others. Since Xan died, this ring is inert.

64 Blocks of Iron, equivalent to 576 ingots!

 

Azhl Bolt/Arrow (Black Lightning): Starting Bid - 49 Minas

A blightsteel bolt capable of inflicting untold misery upon one's target.

 

Ornate Bag: Starting Bid - 99 Minas

An enchanted bag capable of storing absolutely anything you like within it. Rather ornate and dapper! One can change into outfits at a whim, or bring along an entire arsenal attached to their hip.

How do I bid?

Visit the Heavensward directly beside the Soulstone pillar from the Cloudtemple to the Khanate. (30 seconds away from you no matter where you are in the world). If you for some heinous reason enjoy walking, you can use the map in the spoiler below. Buy a piece of paper or bring one of your own, write down the bid that you're making on the item, sign it then place it in the respective barrel! Check back occasionally to see if you've been outbid.

What is the Heavensward?

The Heavensward is a public shopping hub for anyone and everyone to setup their own free shops to sell their items and likewise peruse other stalls and shops for the items that they want. It is host to a brand new auction house and upcoming public library; run by the elusive Wayfarer's. All shops are rent free to merchants, regardless of where you live! That means you can have a free passive income even whilst you live and interact with people up in Haense or Numendil. Discord link for build perms to setup a shop.
