DANGEROUS TIMES HAVE BEFALLEN US AS THE KINGDOM OF BALIAN AND ITS ALLIES PREPARE FOR WAR. To preserve the safety of every BEELIAN citizen, an advisory has been put into effect. We strongly recommend the following to protect the children of BEELIAN:

 

1. Do not travel to or pass through the lands of the Pontifical Alliances’ allies. This includes ALBA & RAVENMIRE, URGUAN, KRUGISTAN, HAELUN’OR, CAUROST, NUMENDIL, and NORLAND. As the humble servants of GOD we should believe in the potential for goodness in every person, but DO NOT assume that you won’t be taken captive because you’re young. 

 

2. Our allies are HAENSE, REINMAR, PETRA,  HYSPIA, and CELIA’NOR. Even though they are ally nations, take extreme caution while traveling to or through them. The crown of BEELIAN recommends that its citizenry does not leave Balian AT ALL. However, if you must, ensure that you do not go alone and that there is an adult in your party. This is IMPERATIVE to keep you safe.

 

3. If you hear the Portoregne rally bell being rung, you should take cover in a building with locked doors. There is safety in numbers— stick together if possible. Wait until the adults or soldiers return and give the all-clear before returning to your activities.

 

4. If you have access to a weapon, keep it on your person at all times.

 

5. If you’re traveling, DO NOT stop for anyone on the roads.

 

6. DO NOT let anyone in through the gates of Balian.

 

7. Listen to your parents, the Regiment of Saint Lothar, and the King and Queen of Balian above all else.

 

War times are stressful at best and life-threatening at worst. Do not take your safety lightly. If you find yourself overwhelmed, scared, or hopeless, remember that there are people around you to reach out to— those being your friends, your family, authority figures, or the crown of BEELIAN itself (I, Aurus, am always here for anyone to talk to).

 

We will survive. We will win. We will be safe again. 

 

The darkest of times makes HOPE shine all the brighter. Do not forget to keep reaching for it!

Aurellius Greye was quite surprised as he read through the missive. “You may misbehave sometimes but I am proud that you took initiative as a leader and also as King of Beelian. One day you will replace me and lead House Greye… I can net wait to see you reach your full potential.” He mused as a smile formed upon his face. He knew his son understood the risks and dangers and he was happy that he was putting the citizens of Balian first.
