Dedicated to Ser Cirilla ‘the Fangbreaker’.

Issued on the 5th of Veronica’s Strength of the year of 147 D.R.

Spoiler

This is dedicated to Ser Cirilla ‘the Fangbreaker’.

May her sacrifice not be forgotten.

Ever since I was a boy my own father vowed

I must find the way to power through a honor war

I raided once just cause, then my senses came

I must war for the stature of my name

Onto raid number two

I knew what I had to do

And my poor Rex fell dead in a year or two

Solved problem number one, now to problem number two

The doe-eyed Rex with a gentle point of view

Would I keep the peace?

No! I told her if she stayed that she’d have

To fight in a war and so we went to fight

They were lazy!

They were crazy!

They were talking to their allies

Hyspia was hopelessly naive, so they had to pay the price

I called them to the summit

I could have thrown them out but I’m benevolent and kind

Grommash, your head's too big for you

I knew what I had to do

After all, difficult nations will take advantage of your good nature

So you war them

There’s one in every desert

Ungrateful

Hateful

Vile too, the things they’ve put me through!

Break their spirit so they obey

Now they’ll do anything you say

Maybe you’d call it cruel but others would call it honor

Tough honor

I ask you, is it a crime to strive for honor in all things?

Oh no, they’re so weak when they’re little but

Then they grow up and just ruin everything

I never wanted neighbors, life was better on our own

All the screaming, bleeding fixed none

But then one day I started the war

The Church made me promises, so I kept it all to me

But someone figured it out, now someone new held the power

So I raided her city and hid in her square

Hours went by, oh, the sacrifice

And against my better judgement, I threatened them once or twice

Unarmored teenagers beat me, I know, wild

But that was messy

Manipulation’s easily more fun

A little guilt, a lot of force, of course you have to lie

Remind them that without you, that they would die

They only have themselves to blame

If you’d been there, you’d of done the same

So war them hard till they fall in line

There is only one way and it’s mine

They are lazy!

Spoiled too

But we know what to do

War them with spears of stone

Kill them, so they’re all done for

Maybe you’d call it cruel but

Others would call it honor, tough honor
