It is with a heavy heart that the House of Varoche announces the passing of its patriarch, Vincenzo, Baron of Placentia. The Lord Varoche leaves behind a wife, Mary of Dover, alongside six children, Agnolo, Maria, Salvatore, Isabetta, Pietro, and Sofia. The Baroness-Dowager, Mary, sees fit to host a funeral in Castrogiovanni, the seat of Placentia. Mourners are asked to wear black or simple frocks, and women should attend with a veil.

 

Furthermore, the Baroness-Dowager of Placentia will take up the mantle of Regent of Placentia until an heir is decided amongst the Illatian diaspora. In the event the Illatian diaspora does not elect an heir, the Baroness-Dowager of Placentia will select one of her children.

 

Finally, the Baroness-Dowager of Placentia will be hosting those who wish to pay respects to the deceased Baron in Private throughout the year. Those seeking to mourn in private are invited to seek out the Baroness-Dowager.
