A Rorin first, a Ruthern second, the once Duke-Consort of Reutov, the once Kingsguard to Alexander, quietly eyed the missive. While he made no motion, he seemed to approve of the anti-hegemonic activities.

It was, ever, the duty of Adunains to oppose empires; and yet, there was no ripple.

A stagnant tide crashing upon still rocks and shores.

The elder Ruthern would gaze to the missive published by his brother, a nod and an ache in his heart all the while. It had been many a year since Sigmar had last seen his brother, or even spoken to him, but he could not deny how proud he felt to see such a missive, even if his oath forsook him from joining his kin.

He would explore options, however he could to assist if he could despite the fact he was no longer recognized by his last remaining sibling, but all the while, he'd nod.

"Rutherns do niet give up easily. Krusae zwy Kongzem, borsa. Ea will see vy when Ea see vy, either with all our other kin, reunited at last, or on the field ov battle, together."

The Devil in Black read this and smiled toothily. "Thank you, Rutherns."

Miroslaw Jazlowiecki grinned as he read the missive. “Seems not all northerners have forgotten where their spine is located. GOD bless the house of Ruthern.”

A beaming smile split the Greye's face. He doubted this would change the tides of war by much—but he was heartened to know there were comrades out there who would defend them. "Graza, brothers. Graza."

Aurus thus went to the Basilica to thank the Lord for answering his prayers.

In the County of Kositz, a young scion of the Balianese line of Ruthern beams proudly upon finishing his distant relatives' missive. “The rage and loyalty of a true Ruthern can niet be so easily quelled.” He’d remark, his lips tugging into a grin as he’d sign the Lorraine before himself, muttering a prayer for the Duke’s endeavors.

Sigismund de Lyons grinned. His mother's family... RUTHERN... they were finally standing in Unison. "We stand with you. We shall fall with you. Ave Balian. Ave Ruthern."
