Iᴛ ɪs sᴜᴄʜ ᴄᴀᴍᴀʀᴀᴅᴇʀɪᴇ ᴛʜᴀᴛ ʙᴇɢᴇᴛs Tʜᴇ Tʜᴀʟᴇᴡᴏᴏᴅ Aᴄᴄᴏʀᴅ, ɴᴏᴛ ɪɴ ᴍᴇʀᴇ ɪɴᴛᴇʀᴇsᴛ ᴏғ ᴛʜᴇ sᴏᴠᴇʀᴇɪɢɴ ᴄʀᴏᴡɴs, ʙᴜᴛ ᴛʜᴇ ᴘᴇᴏᴘʟᴇ ᴛʜᴇʏ sᴇʀᴠᴇ.

With the signing of this treaty, the Princedom of Cauróst and the Kingdom of Norland, henceforth referred to as “the signatories,” do agree to the terms and conditions laid forth.

 

Article I. Sovereignty

The signatories shall recognize the other’s sole authority over their sovereign states. This acknowledgement grants each their right to rule their cities, vassals, and territories according to their laws and customs, free of foreign influence.

 

Article II. Defense
The signatories agree to a pact of warfare defense, including, but not limited to, countering enemy raids and protecting travel routes. At any sign of conflict within Aevos that might include the signatories’ allies, the two signatories shall convene to ensure peace remains between the signatories’ realms where possible.
 

Article III. Extradition
The signatories pledge to assist each other in cases of extradition upon request, as it pertains to criminals convicted of the signatories’ documented laws, as well as notorious darkspawn figures.
 

Article IV. Diplomacy

The signatories agree to reconvene if desired to elevate or edit the terms of this pact. This includes, but is not limited to, treaties of defense, alliance, or further trade. Furthermore, in cases of internal schisms or disputes between the respective sovereigns, the signatories shall pursue peaceful and diplomatic means of resolution.
 

Article V. Duration

This treaty shall take effect immediately upon signing and shall remain in force for ten years. At the end of this decade, both parties will meet again to renegotiate these terms. If a sovereign of the signatories passes away, becomes infirm, or is vassalized, both parties may convene an emergency summit to renegotiate these terms; otherwise, the treaty is considered null and void.
