 —  Engagement upon the Fields of Silasia—

Our day began like any other for those who had joined the ranks of the Royal Burgundian Guard, by waking up and completing basic tasks around the garrison before being deployed to various stations throughout the Kingdom. However this day was to become more than we had expected, the order came in early that day from the Lord Marshal Berkhoven to ready ourselves for departure to Silasia for a scouting mission. Quickly we began gathering provisions, tents, and weapons in the event of an attack at our campsite and made ready to depart towards Silasia. 

Our arrival in Silasia was quite lackluster for the haste that we had mustered to arrive there, but that was to change quickly as upon meeting with the Baron Whitewood of Silasia we saw in the distance mountain ridges shapes of figures bearing torches. For over an hour we watched from the fields as the silhouettes above made preparations, meanwhile, we made our own readying shields, and crossbows, and evacuated the civilians from Silasia. Upon our advance to the final trees of Silasia at the base of the mountains, Lord Marshal Berkhoven called for a halt through our lines to prepare for the possibility of engagement. However, a detachment of Knights of the Holy Grail had other plans marching forward demanding an honor duel with their best men, however, the call for a duel was unheard as laughing echoed off the mountain before the sky filled with the whistle of arrows raining upon their positions. This volley of arrow fire swift, relentless, and uncaring of the Knight's honor swiftly found its mark killing those of the Holy Grail instantly however they stood firm, upright even in death refusing to bow down before the honorless. At this Lord Marshal Berkhoven realizing their forces far outnumbered our own decided to offer peace to retrieve the deceased for burial, and to allow for negotiations to take place though short they were as within minutes we were preparing for scouting of defenses. So it shall be in Silasia that the resolve and courage of Burgundy shall be tested once more in the field of battle, so it shall be that victory will be ours once more. 

The Kingdom of Burgundy shall triumph!
