FOREWORD

 

ANY GOOD SOLDIER MUST KNOW THE ART OF ARCHERY. Indeed, archery is a most useful tactic in warfare. However, when not in war, what does one do with this hidden talent? The Princely House of Keen is delighted to announce an Amazing Archery Contest for the denizens of the Empire of Man in the capital of the Ivorian Principality, Gottenhal.

1. ARCHERY CONTEST

 

GOTTENHAL, PRINCIPALITY OF IVORIA, EMPIRE OF MAN

 

An Ivorian Archer

 

Participants in the archery contest will be stationed behind a line, for which they must not cross. Then, they will shoot their bow-and-arrow three times, focusing on a target with three rings - the center ring (red), the middle ring (yellow) and the outer ring (white). The point system shall be explained below.

 

CENTER RING – RED: Fifteen points

 

MIDDLE RING – YELLOW: Ten points

 

OUTER RING – WHITE: Five points

 

Contestants are encouraged to bring their own bow-and-arrow, however, limited supplies will be provided. Furthermore, the winning contestant will be given a special hunting bow, as well as a sum of two-hundred-and-twenty mina for their efforts.
