Tsukinomiya Yu's Last Will and Testament [PK]

Years slip away, yet not a single day passes without Yu lingering in her thoughts. For what feels like an eternity, she has yearned for her Okaasan - an absence like a missing piece of her very soul. Each day without fail, Oborozuki makes her way to her Okaasan's house shrine, bearing gifts. There, seated in front of it, she smiles softly and recounts stories of the world.
-
Many know of her Okaasan, whether through the shrine itself or the tales told beside it - stories of Yu’s battles and her strong heart, preserved not in body, but in memory.
-
One morning in particular, after the chaos - Oborozuki approaches, seated on the cushion however leaning against the painted scroll of her mother - nothing but her dated Yukata worn as she embraced her mother's shrine.
-

"Ohayou, Okaasan.."
-
In sickness, the daughter rests against her mother's house shrine for hours on end - silence filling the shop and candles flickering until eventually extinguishing as the day comes to an end, shrouded in darkness.
