Issued on the 5th of Owyn's Light, of the 237rd year of the Second Age

THE DAY DRAWS NEAR…

 

That our people might recover from our transgressions and our grief, though our souls crave a tether to Him, who watches over our Hyspian flock. Our path towards redemption in the eyes of our ever-merciful DIOS is just beginning, and as such we seek a most holy conduit through which to live, worship, and love in such a way that is seen as just in the eyes of our Señor. This spiritual leader, ordained and approved by our great Church, will lead us to salvation, and guide our people in the righteous ways of Canonism. May DIOS see this leader delivered to us swiftly, and may their tenure as our Villa’s priest and preacher be as grand as His Holy Judgement allows.

REQUIREMENTS:

 

Should the Church, in its infinite generosity, send forth prospects to our Villa, it must filter its candidates thusly, that our people might receive a worthy priest. If DIOS allows, the Padre of Villa de Francisco will be:

1. An ordained Owenist  member of the Clergy.
2. In good standing with the Church of the Canon.
3. In good standing with the Kingdom of Númendil.
4. Willing to learn the Hyspian Culture and Language.

APPLICATION:

 

Once a member of the clergy, in accordance with the above requirements, finds themselves available and willing to present themselves before our council for consideration, they must send word of their nomination to one of our active Council Members.

A letter was penned for Senora Anacleta, pinned to the original missive within Hyspia.
~ The trees that bear good fruit are those nurtured and grown within their nature.

A kohen straps a saddle to his donkey, readying a few bags of candles, incense, and lemon oils for a journey. “Bring up a hyspian priest, not a priest to hyspia.” He hummed, making way for the villa.

An unimportant Hyspian, who had decided not to ingress in the diaspora due to principle, spat to the side at the missive;

"Cómo han caído los poderosos. . ." He uttered, shaking his head slowly. "A land of many peoples, accepting all paths of Canon and all of its rites, now reduced to the flame-worshipping heresy of the Lector dogs, bowing their heads to low that they no longer care how heavy the boot on their throat is..."

 

A light shrug, and he laid back on his chair, chewing absent-mindedly on wheat.

"Eh. Too much to expect backbone from my people. We haven't had any for a good while. . ."
