A pile of missives would be thrown unceremoniously into the streets of Alba, the rider promptly galloping away after doing such.

The mighty host of Brawm set out as the sun smiled on them along the roads of Norland. They rode with haste, combing through the mountains in search of their prey, the heretical Norlanders.

Upon the continuation of this journey, they came across a lonesome Norlandic woman lingering in a festival outside the village of Karoslund. Unknowing of what was to become of her, she gave the retinue an amicable wave.

Like hounds, they descended upon her swiftly and with little hesitation. The company put the woman in rope binds. She offered little resistance, as such would have been nothing but foolishness against the notorious House of Brawm. They brought her to the ruins of Veletz, where she was promptly interrogated in an abandoned church.

Bravis Brawm walking the harlot outside the ruined church.

Upon learning of her anti Brawm and canonist associations, punishment was handed swiftly and mercilessly. She was brought out, where Bravis Brawm dealt what would be her end.

The body of the woman who dubbed herself a royal of Norland, was then dragged to a cross constructed by Gruul, their uruk ally, where the body was then tied, and promptly burned by Seymour Brawm. Since the woman fashioned herself a harlot, the men of Brawm condemned her to a harlot's death.

Let this be a message to those heretics who try the notorious House of Brawm. May GOD above have mercy when the Hounds descend upon you.

“The Hounds hunger for a feast.” Ricky Brawm slipped his helmet off then, closing his eyes as he kneeled before an altar.

Bravis shoved the bloodied sword into its scabbard with a sneer, glancing at the fallen with contempt. “Pathetic,” he muttered

Lord Ashford of Rouen read the missive with sharp interest, the name Brawm stirring old memories from his boyhood lessons on Hanseti-Ruska. He recalled their rebellion well years marked by blood and infamy, when the Brawms were reputable bandit-lords. Now, he wondered which path they might choose; defiance once more, or something altogether new.
