DeadraSlayer 419 Share Posted July 5, 2025 Spoiler To Step Aside Since the death of my Father early in my life I have been Baron of the Isles, for over fifty years I have served at this post, acting as the Admiral of Ravenmire and as the Grand Collar of The Order of the Phoenix serving loyalty to all my noble lords. But I can see in I am growing older, slower, and fatter. The rotting world I knew when I was but a boy, is dead, buried behind decades or tireless work and actions. The few stood up to the many. The dirty rotting many. We started from nothing, a mere sentence in a history book. But time moved on, we grew into the most powerful nation this world has ever seen. And I am thankful to be a part of such a legendary story. I am thankful to have had many people I consider family, a few were stolen from me yes, but others remained. My father learned many things about this world that we find ourselves in, as have I. The Sir Magnus Winburgh, Founding father of the Isles, Knight of Veletz, Slayer of Viceroys, Bane of Petra, Admiral of the Middenlands, and lastly the Baron of the Isles. Needless to say, I had quite a bit of things to live up to and to say that I did, is to stroke one's ego. So I will leave you with this I have served for more years than my own Father lived. We, the Ravens of Old, toppled the tyrannical monuments that found themselves in power. We funded Nations that valued freedom and Justice Aaun faltered Vortice fell Hohkmat burned Lurin splintered And long thought dead, Van Aerts now rule as they always should have. I am happy for one of the few times in my life, I am happy to have played a role. And my happiness is not going to be destroyed by some damned Mountain. Down with the Damned Mountain. A moment of pride and joy, a pinprick of celebratory light within the darkness of the pit she remains in. Alas, she remains unaware, unfound, hidden.
