Some of you already know, and for others, this might come as a surprise…

I’ll be going on a hiatus for a while — it could be months, maybe even a year. This isn’t something I decided lightly.

I’ve been offered an opportunity to work on a cruise line — something I’ve dreamed of doing for a long time. It’s both exciting and incredibly emotional for me. This next chapter means stepping away from the LotC community, a place that’s become so close to my heart. Through all the stories, characters, and moments shared, I’ve met some of the most amazing people and made friendships that mean the world to me.

To everyone who’s supported me, roleplayed with me, laughed with me, or just been there in any way — thank you. Truly. You’ve made this journey unforgettable.

I wish I could stay and keep writing, keep playing, keep sharing this world with you all. But right now, I need to take this time to focus on my life, chase this dream, and grow as a person. That said — this isn’t goodbye. I’ll still be around on socials, so if you ever wonder how things are going, feel free to check in! I’ll do my best to keep everyone updated.

For those of you whose characters are connected to mine (especially in marriages or close ties), feel free to say my characters are asleep or away for now — I should be back in about 8 months. And for anyone who wants me to pick up a character or storyline again, ask me when I return! I’m hoping things will be a lot more settled then.

This was one of the hardest decisions I’ve had to make. But I’ll be back — and when I do, I can’t wait to dive back into the stories we create together.

Good luck, comrade! BUT SERIOUSLY share your experience when you come back, I'm in culinary school and have been interested in perhaps working on a cruise line, so hearing a first-hand account would be dope asf.
