Hello everyone! This is a short story I wrote for what is happening to Evalynn. Please don't read if you don't wish to be spoiled :3

Spoiler

Oribar?! Oribaaaar?”  Evalynn shouts with a concerned tone. She looks frantically around the forest looking for her friend. Looking in bushes, tree’s, you name it. “Are you playing hide and seek?! Please come out now, I'm worried!!” she shouts again. She hears no answer. Her brows furrow and she sighs. “Such a lovely joyful friend to have around… but gosh you worry me so much…” she mutters. She then keeps treading into the forest, pushing past bushes and foliage growing thicker.

Suddenly from the corner of her eye, she spots something. She then looks where she spotted it spotting a deer staring at her. As soon as she looked though, it bolted into the bush away from sight. She frowns and continues onwards then, wanders upon a stream. Oribar? Are you back there?” she shouts. Her eyes then darted to a log bridge. She then walks to it, and attempts to cross it. “Steady, steady…” her arms spread apart to give her balance. Once she makes it to the other side, she continues into the bush.

An hour goes by and she then looks around. Her eyes widened with realization. “Oh no…” She was lost. She then attempts to go back where she came, however she seems to come back to the same spot over and over again. Oribar?! Please come out!? I'm lost, I need your help…”  she shouts once more. She sighs then proceeds to stand towards a tree. Clasping her hands together in prayer. “O lord god, your example I follow, and I shall carry out your will… What would you, the true lord, ask me to do in this situation? For you are the true lord, and I seek a guiding hand." She says. She then stands there for a few minutes, thinking. Her eyes then widen and nod with a smile on her face. She continues forward… stepping on more plants as she treads forward.

As she walks through the bush she then spots something, her eyes widening. “An apple tree…?” she says with curiosity. The branches were all spread out strangely and it's almost as if it had a faint glow to the leaves. There was something else off about it but she couldn’t put her finger on it. She would then walk closer to it, finally standing at the fae tree’s roots. The tree seemed to be just starting to grow apples, however not quite ripe enough for the picking. Evalynn would then feel a sudden urge to lay down and sleep at the tree’s roots. She would then yawn. She would then think, ‘but what about Oribar? What if he is lost?’  She would sigh and then yell one last time “Oribar?” There was no response… ‘He was probably fine…’ she thought. She would then go sit at the tree’s roots, looking up at the tree one last time, looking at it with a bit of curiosity. She would then finally lay down, and rest.. Letting the tree consume her body whole.

A day or so later, Evalynn would open her eyes.. She would have a relatively dreamless slumber under the tree. She would then stand up… feeling a bit odd. She would then look down at her legs… her skin being replaced with bark. “W-w-what?!” she says in shock while looking at her legs. She would then lift her arms and then leaves came down in front of her face along with a flower attached. She would then back up against the tree… “Wait…” she would then look up to see the tree in the morning sun, then realizing what happened to her. She was either cursed, or blessed… She had no idea which was which. She had no idea what to think, to be happy, sad, angry? She didn’t know.  She would then look to her acolyte robe on the ground and put it on. She would then slide her bag over her shoulder. Her brows would furrow and she would continue onward out of the foliage.

 I hope you enjoyed!
