The Roadmen's Arrival

Landing on Midlands with a crack and a crash,

A cracked nose, a cracked back, and a boat turned to trash.

 

Cuthbert, Hungbert, and poor Plegbert too,

Stumbled ashore with the sea in their shoe.

The air reeked of salt, of failure, of fear.

And Hungbert's old sausage that shouldn’t be near.

They came all the way from Grense, all battered and bruised.
Cuthbert hit Hungbert, and Hungbert hit Plegbert,
and Plegbert hit himself.

His nose was swollen and crooked.
His nose was swollen and bent out of line,
But Cuthbert’s eyes were less aligned.
Yet none could match, for sheer odd talk,
The wobble-wilt of Hungbert's walk.

They aimed for Numenost, chasing some ale,

And maybe some women - but that seemed quite frail.

For chopped-up men such as these in the band,

Romance and glory were hard to command.

By Numenost’s tavern, they spotted a child,
Purple and cursed, with a glare cold and wild.
They cornered young Nick by the flickering light,

His purse full of coins, they snatched in a flash,
While Hungbert, quite hungry, made off with a stash.
A cookie, all crumbs, but he ate it with glee,
As Nick stared in anger, purple as could be.

They left Numenost richer, more full, more glad, With pockets now heavy and spirits not sad.

But off they set arguing which way to steer; each roadman so stubborn, no road could they clear.

So off went the roadmen, in black puffers tight,
Bickering and puffing into the cold night.

Breaking News: Local mercenaty fleeing the scene after eating questionable horse-station sushi leaving their eyes disfigured.

Scene portrays suspect fleeing the scene with sushi in hand being chased by two undercover knights. Suspect highly dangerious and smells of seafood.

Lmaooo, tyty it was definitely fun to write it, feel free to, it’s highly appreciated. I plan on making a good few more posts tho, as long as I have something post worthy 🔥
