Blessings be upon thee all, and may the Light forever preserve each and all. It is impossible to ignore the comeuppance, the turmoil that grasped the hearts of so many of my dear brothers and sisters. Woe, for worse still is how the honest clerics have been mistaken and misjudged as radical revolutionaries, rather than ardent defenders of a Church in need of reform.

 

Let this vicious cycle come to an end. I have great disdain to see this Holy Church divided against itself, and I act today thusly to secure its continued unity and sanctity. 

 

The Holy Father and I have spoken, and the hand of mercy and understanding is set out thusly; any individuals who have been caught in the wave of hysteria and mania that is the radical efforts to wholly undermine the church, will be offered CLEMENCY. 

 

Do not mistake this as a pacifying of concern, or as censorship of valid inquiries, and concerns about the future of the Holy Mother. Nie; this is merely an act to calm the senses, to smooth the rough edges that veer dangerously towards sin. Any of those who wish to take this offer of forgiveness must simply agree to the following terms;

 

I. Make a simple pledge of their belief in the continued unity and loyalty to the Holy Mother Church;

II. To agree that any such concerns and woes will be addressed at the coming Ecumenical Council, A legal body dedicated to the hearing of, and representation of, the clergy.

III. Denounce any schismatic intentions and elements of this movement. 

 

These are the simple terms that the Holy Mother seeks. Let us rejoin, brothers and sisters all, and express our discontentment through the mechanism that was so designed to address it.

Father Martin speaks to a congregation of gathered priests in Drusco, some relatively unknown and some reputable, "Were the coming ecumenical council, already summoned by a questionable authority, actually structured in a manner that seemed to suggest that it would be open to the opinion of the clergy rather than to affirm a pre-existing mandate, this could be reasonable concession. However, Leviticus and others following his mandate have made it clear that 'unity' is not their goal, it's the eradication of any theology contrary to his mandate. They have done away with law that would've otherwise held them accountable to any internal inquiry. We must not fall into word traps to make it seem like we support them when they will inevitably exploit it against us reputationally at a later point. We have not initiated any schism, and the only reason they would classify it as such is because they envy the support that our restoration movement wields in restoring our church to how it has been for centuries. Tradition, scripture, and the law favours our movement. Do not let them deceive you into thinking otherwise."
