Recruits step over the line!

The Imperial Arch-Chancellor's Heiress beaten by fresh recruits!

Two new fresh recruits of the Imperial guards were arrested due to indecent behaviour of the previous saints day. The incident took place when a man and a wife were sparring with each other. The two new recruits in question arrived at the scene believing the Husband was attacking his wife. Both recruits wanted to arrest them and even threatened to remove fingers! Thankfully The Arch-Chancellors daughter Lorenna de Senna was also present at the scene together with her Sister in law Circe de Senna. Both tried to deescalate the situation but to no avail.. Tis at this point that Lorenna de Senna struck one of the guards to stop them from giving out an unjust punishment ! Lady de Senna was just pushed aside! Both later even ignored orders of their Captain! Thankfully both were arrested today and punishment was given to them by Von Rosewald for their blatant behaviour, insubordination and abuse of power! a True disgrace for our loyal defenders of public peace…

Darkspawn rise in Alba

Darkspawn threat rising in Alba but citizens uninformed!

For Some time now Darkspawn have been sighted more often, one might even say regularly in the Arch-duchy of Alba. The first sightings were confirmed at the Prince's Institute by several students, only days later the first attacks would take place at the Institute, chasing around a whole class of art students. Thankfully no one was killed or injured during that attack. The Art teacher did their best to protect their students but there was only so much that could be done. Since then the appearance and attacks of the Darkspawn have not stopped! and for many it seems like not much is being done about it, as worried Citizens brought up the threat of the darkspawn at the Mayoral Debate in Alba. Peoples feel unsafe, and indeed the threat lurks around. However it seems that peoples are not fully informed of the threat, some even openly doubting that Darkspawn are dangerous or even malicious ! Yes these thoughts exist, even children openly saying after witnessing a darkspawn attack that they though the darkspawn are not evil creatures! To what have we come when peoples start doubting the danger of darkspawn ? are Parents not properly educating their children anymore of the threats of the world? surely if our children don't think that darkspawn are malicious, we as society have already failed to prepare them for their future…  

Imperial History Professor needed

The Prince´s Institute is searching for a new imperial history teacher as their last teacher had to unfortunately retire due to health conditions. leaving the post empty for the next term, which is unfortunate. So the Prince´s Institute is looking for a quick replacement before the start of the second term. While all other subjects have had many classes already, history students are left without having had a single lesson yet! We hope at teacher can be found as imperial history is a very important subject. After all many of these young students could go on one day working for imperial institutions. 
 

Account of the Battle of Valdev
An account of Richard von Rhoswald.

The Armies successfully removed evil from the ruined city of Valdev, the cultist leading an army of Ice-Thangs and Golems was finally killed! The battle to get to him though was bloody as testified by Richard von Rhoswald. The battle started with an artillery barrage as the bridges were blocked by Golems, before being attacked from behind as well! Only through combined forces did they managed to push back before doing a frontal assault into the city. Many traps were laid in the city costing many lives but the armies pushed on, to destroy the evil in Valdev and protecting us from it. 
 

Adultery in the army?

We received a letter with rather curious but also unverified information saying that a guardsman in the Imperial forces is committing adultery on a large scale. The accusation are that said member of guard is courting four women at the same time! if such were true these would indeed be  a grave injustice. The letter however did not contain any names to who may be responsible, evidence also lacks. If these accusations are true we invite peoples to come forward for us to start a journalistic investigation on this matter.

"Circa de Senna…?" She muttered under her breath as one of her children's nannies looked at the woman confused. "They spelt my name wrong! If you mention me, at least do it correctly.." Circe de Senna remarked to the woman behind her while holding up the newspaper. After placing it aside, she went back to pondering when her husband would return.

"Circa De Senna, huh.." The Knight chuckled to himself, seeing his wife's name messed up on the missive. "At least it's better than Ciri." Leif then got down from the wall, storing the missive in his travel bag

Neia stares at the missive for several moments, nodding dutifully as her eyes scanned the letters. After giving the paper several moments of thought, she cleared her throat. "I can't read." She then licks the newspaper and glues it to the window in her living room.

"MAN AND WIFE?" she flails the paper around for a moment, sighing "These writers don't know how to fact check anything do they? As foolish as those guards. Shameful."

 

Though, she would snip out the piece of the article, sending her own copy of it to Aurus so that they could laugh about it.

Admittedly I do love to keep some inaccurate stuff in the newspaper ahha 
Man and wife sparring just more dramatic for the news :P Just as the title says that someone was beaten up if though no one really was ahah, just sounds more dramatic for the news hehe
I do kinda aim to be a bit of a tabloid rather than just a serious paper with serious news.
So yeah I love to read these comments ahha, smth for your characters to be annoyed or talk about with others :)
