Why do orcs kill everyone but one child?

In da old day, when da land were young and full of parent and weak enemy, der were a loose band of uruk headhunter run by a brute named Scara. From each enemy household da uruk raided, dey wud save one child and force da youth to watch as da rest of da family were violently slaughtered, burned and beheaded.

You forgot having their finger and toe nails ripped off then the toes and fingers are eaten by a wolf trained to eat those parts. Then they should be stretched on a rack until they can't even scream in pain. Then they are nearly crushed to death then they should be burnt on a stake with a specific layout that causes the burning to be slow and bainful, then before they die their head is sawed off slowly by a rusty sword...

This is also a message to people who are racist to halflings and think that they can't be violent.

Two bolts of lightining killed my orc parents, my mothers corpse acting as a shield from the flames protecting me outside of one of the old towns of Oren until humans found them and took me in.

Wow they only survived two and they are orcs? I'm a halfling and I was struck seven times in a single storm

Wow. You guys managed to sift through crap, and dig this up. I honestly give you all props. And just to be clear, mine was Dwarves, not apes, not Orcs, and um... not Undead. It was Dwarves. Filthy Dwarves... :angry:
