I'm pretty sure the only reason things can't be turned into other CA's is if they have half a soul like a musin or sorvian or something, but this would lock them out of becoming machine spirits, klones, tree lords, the naztherak CA, moroi, and of course, the necromancy CA's youve mentioned

That is a really good point ive amended it to be 1 ooc day out 1 in let me know what you think?

the CA would probably benefit from having its own, more fleshed out, page. this reads more like a d&d race sheet, except it doesn't describe properly any abilities the CA may have. the concept is quite interesting and it would be nice to have a playable aquatic creature, but with what is currently here there's not that many tools given to enable roleplay like other CA lore. a CA like this should not be "descendant but fish".

other random thoughts:
- unless i'm missing some piece of deeplore, there is no way they would have anything above a lesser soul unless they were once descendants and got turned into something else, in which case you would have to find a lore explanation on how that happened.
- the out of water time limit feels a bit unnecessary given it can be ignored 99% by just saying they went into a pond off-screen before the player logged on. if there's gonna be a reliance on water, it should be less of a mechanical limitation and more of a tool for roleplay. maybe instead of needing to go into water every certain amount of hours, they simply grow wrinkled and grow old aesthetically until they wet their skin again. maybe the lack of moisture causes them to act in a more animalistic matter, with emotional outbursts much harder to contain. something more than just "oh gotta roleplay jumping into a pool cause a redline says so".
- not sure if there's another lore piece that already takes ownership over the control/affinity to the real element of water, but you could somehow incorporate that into this CA to make it stand out. obviously not to the level of water evocation.... but something small, like creating patterns in the water or perhaps something with bubbles?

I'm a big fan of a playable CA based on water given the abundance of it on this map.

But as was pointed out previously, this seems a little lacking at the moment.

 

If expanded I see potential, I think.

@Echo_42069 uuuuuh how are you supposed to not die underwater mechanically? Unless you just mean frequently surfacing. And while the idea of playing a fish makes me smile (look it my profile picture. See how much he is smiling?) If your vision is the echidna building underwater cites etc that might be kind of hard since there are no tiles dominated by water. The only place they would have is the coasts of the seaside tiles. And (this is just a random idea) maybe you should have them progress faster through the tiers of water evocation? (And if Spaazmatism comes and comments about horrible and idiotic this comment supposedly is, so help me...)
